This is Lauren

I am 29 and my hubby is 30, we live in Bourneouth UK.

Lauren my eldest is 7 yrs, Damon is 5 yrs and Sian is 4 yrs. The kids are all bright little sparks but unfortunately Damon has speech and language problems and is under a host of different doctors. Obviously life can be a bit stressful as damon has only a dozen clear words and the rest are either beginnings or finishes of words so can be quite difficult to understand what he is saying. He now has several ways to communicate since he has been going to a special school.

We are a happy family and love each other dearly. We have 3 cats and 2 tanks of tropical fish to keep us entertained!

It would be nice to talk to others about damons problems as we think it is Verbal Dyspraxia although it has not been diagnosed yet but his teacher also thinks it might be that. We are in the process of trying to get him diagnosed but it could take a while.
