Truths - That Inspire
The truth is stranger than fiction, and this is something that comes to my mind on a regular basis when I read postings on Minti. The strength of character that many people display when they have subjected to indignity and violence astounds me. The daily lives of other people fascinate me, and I am often shocked and horrified by the stories that people tell in regard to intolerance, unfairness and the like. Especially considering that many of these people are kind, generous and giving souls – even after all they have been through.
Truths - That Incite
Then there are those whose version of the truth is somewhat clouded, they too have suffered some smaller hardships, however this has made them bitter. They are the group who blame other people for everything they don’t like that occurs in their life. It is with baited breath they wait for someone to post an advice article or blog about a topic they are remotely familiar with so they can cry foul, and claim they are personally being victimised. It is a very unfortunate way to view the world, and although I can sympathise with these poor lost souls – I will not tolerate their antics, and the trouble they cause.
Fiction - Causing Friction
Reporting members… There is a pattern that I have noticed in regard to this. Those who have made multiple reports against their peers for reasons that are not in breach, are no longer with us. Their own vicious and desperate actions bring them under scrutiny, and eventually they step too far out of line, and end up voted off the island as a consequence. Once again, I feel sorry for those who create themselves as victims in this sad state of affairs, however they create it themselves. I have even felt sorry for those who have made false accusations against me, (most latterly of conspiring against another member who I don't know and don't want to know in my absence). However I don't feel sorry enough for them to put up with their blatant disregard for reality, and bullshit in their efforts to discredit others.
Fiction - Return Ferals
For the record – I haven’t voted anyone off the island for making claims against me, in anyway. Even when they were offensive, ridiculous and rude – however if I witness anyone doing it to anyone else, I will report and vote against them immediately. Why would I write this now, when multiple accounts have just been deleted? I am writing it because it needs to be said. If you get voted off for offensive and unacceptable behaviour on a site that is fairly forgiving and accepting like Minti, you must have been very rude. A group of your peers has said that you should leave, so take the hint – don’t come back. For those that think this is harsh, let it be known that those who keep returning, keep being deceitful about their identity, and constantly stir trouble. They write comments intended to flame other members, report members for bogus reasons and create multiple accounts to vote themselves up and vote people they don’t like down.
Truth - Not Fiction
Well get this, my twisted little sisters, I won’t be feeling sorry for you anymore, and if I see any of you back online, I will publicly challenge you. Too many times you have made innocent and lovely people turn on each other on Minti. You make people feel sorry for you, and then you start your little tricks and turn people against each other. Perhaps you should go away and have a good hard look at yourself in the mirror, mend your ways and start fresh – somewhere else! I know who you are, your avatars may change, your usernames may change, however your signature shit stirring persona's never do. Get off and stay off, sort your selves out, you have major mental issues if this is the only way you can get your kicks.
This is written in thanks to every member who legitimately reported another member for breaching Minti's Terms and Conditions, and was challenged or harassed for their decision. |

Nat - why did you read the whole thing you funny girl! I hope that Mikayla-Rose was resting and feeling better, so you took the chance to put your feet up.
Yes, I feel sorry for them too, however you know how it is - some people don't want help, they want attention, and they get it to the detriment of other people.
So many fun and fantastic contributors have just got fed up with the general atmosphere. A couple of people, signed in under various accounts, and re-signing when booted, just get on and write the odd controversial thing now and then - make bogus reports, cry wolf and the whole cycle begins again.
Well it's time it stopped!

Hi you, I have read your blogs, over due for a comment - I find your coping skills a bit overwhelming, which makes my parenting skills seem very underwhelming indeed - you're a champion mum, with a great family.
I didn't want to have my personal view reflected in as an advice article, as I thought I was in the minority - seems I am not. Also, if anyone wants to disagree here, and defend the behaviour of a few people with less than honorable intentions - they are welcome to. Discussion can be made more freely in a blog, as people won't stumble across it as advice if they are google searching and the like.

OK, at count, there are 56 messages in response to your blog...And I have read them all.
Well, I am not sure if you were just laying low or thinking about things or letting it fester. But you certainly have a bit of pent up anger...And rightly so. Clearly this last bout (and the previous one) is because one member had a beef with you and wanted to exact some revenge.
I don't know how many accounts she had previously but I am sure at least one of them was to "monitor" you. And of course to vote up herself. It is funny to see the comments on advice and in the reported section made by her but on the different accounts...it cracks me up!
I have to say, I have become a bit uneasy with new members and friend requests. I wonder who they are and why are they asking to be my friend. I watch their comments and advice and wonder whether or not they are someone other than who they represent themselves to be...
It is sad but true. Hopefully there will be a change of seasons on Minti...

I gotta admit, I actually find it strangely amusing when people keep coming back after getting booted, it becomes like a little game of cat and mouse. How long can they get away without being detected and booted again? Hmm... bets anyone? Who's going to find and report them first?
Or maybe we should set up a virtual Dyson to catch the little rats? LOL OMG I'm still reeling from that. I'm going to get out of here before all my comments get totally obcessed with mice and vacuum cleaners. For those who are totally confused about this, see my blog.

So glad I haven't get caught up in any of the issues I hear my fellow Minti friends sometimes mention to me. I don't understand why other people try to bring others down on here. We're all have something absolutely beautiful and wonderous in common here - WE'RE PARENTS! Time to appreciate the simple and beautiful things in life, before getting involved in silly stuff on here!
