Re: I would just
now i know it feels that everyones against you at the moment as far as the flu goes there is no avoiding it. we are in the middle of winter and according to medical rports on the media there are 3 different strains that are very severe this year and there are plenty more less severe.
my doctor says you only have to touch a door handle to get infected. our hands carry lots of germs via blowing nose.
also you can catch it on public transport or while shopping. its in the air .
yeah centrelink are coming on harsh but then again so many of us have worked full time whilst pregnant and morning sickness and evening getting up to attend toddler that has been teething
now i understand how you feel when others take sicky at work for lame excuses that is infuriating
but sweetie at the end of the day put a smile on your face and try to see the positives . its no skin off from centrelink or your workmate or from whoever gave you the flu its your babies emotions inside of you that is important.
they can "feel and live your emotions" see the positives. the extra cash you will get . getting out of the house a bit. spoil and indulge yourself tonight
if in a fortnight there are 24 hrs x 14 days = 336 hours minus an average of 10 hours a night (thats being generous) = 196 hours - 30 hours (what centrelink want you to work)= 166hours
work is a big stress factor and when your pregnant it can be more so but its the way that we handle situations the way we choose to respond that will affect us. a situation that has happened wont change but our physical and mental stamina will affect our bodies. its these that are important to us . its these things that we can change to be as comfortable as we can for ourselves.
beacause at the end of it all we and we alone can only do that.
i hope this helps you . soon you will give birth and these things will be so trivial to the feeling you will have with bubs
take care
cheers annie
