You certainly haven't been belittled, in fact you have come out of this looking pretty good in my opinion, however I  can understand why you feel insulted. Personally I would ignore the stupid comments, I wasn't even going to get involved because you know me, I much prefer to keep my head in the sand when "trouble" is about LOL

But I have just left my two penny's worth thoughts, for what they are worth

i know exactly how you feel hun. Last year I wrote about me getting a hysterectomy and did an article about it cause minti didnt have one at all. I had a tun of ppl just joining minti to slag me off and tell me it wasnt the right thing to do. I almost left minti because of it.

Minti is still a wonderful place it is just sad that random ppl feel that they can put ppl down for something they did or are planing on doing with either themself or their child when they have NO idea what they are talking about as they are not a parent of a child in this situation.

What bugs me the most......is they were arguing a religious point of view not a medical point view and they sucked at it! If you look hard enough you can find enough evidence to support just about anything.

They had no idea what they were talking about and i have posted 2 comments pointing out the religious crap they were arguing against with out actually using the word religion. If gonna argue against the religious side have the F'n guts to say it!!!!!

As Lou said Female Gential Mutilation is far worse issue that actually ruins lives. Americas Next Top Model had a contestant from Africa (Somali by memory) who confessed she was done.....the other contestants could believe it, as she said she can't have sex because it so painful and child birth is now out of the picture because of it too.

Don't worry Lisa........these ppl are nobodies and as someone else said they are trolls. You wrote a good article with sound medical basis. Those losers can suck sour grapes (just watch what happens to Chowder when he eats sour!!!!! It's so funny!!!!!!)

 I think if these people want something to get upset over they should look up Female circumcision! FGM: Female Genital Mutilation. I WOULD ADVISE NOT TO GOOGLE UNLESS YOU HAVE A STRONG STOMACH. Very disterbing practuse and im pretty sure there is no medical reason to do it!

Hey Lisa - They're not really minti members just some randoms who joined from the same website. I guess they figured if all 3 of them bashed your article their opinion would be heard more but I guess that failed, didn't it? One of them has multiple accounts so is getting deleted by Izzy ;-) just a heads up there. I have redirected them to make their own article rather than doting on yours, hopefully this will get rid of them.

You have every rite to be angry but please don't get to upset as these people are trying to get others that comment on your page Things are improving and just give it a little more time if youcan put up with it and if I find someone bad mouthing I will come back at them dont forget Minti is changing for he good just hang in there
