Thanks lots Janice.I love trips down memory lane.I have recently got in touch with two old friends I grew up with so there's plenty of that going on!!

School hols-mmm, my kids are 9 nearly 10 and at the age were park is boring,everything is boring.They're getting ready for some independence but I think they're too young to be going off on their own.Some of their friends go all over on their own but I think the way society is now I just don't feel ready yet.There is so many bad things happen to kids nowadays,not that I wrap them in cotton wool, I'm just concerned.

Also I love the Betty!! I love Betty Boop and I have a few in a small collection.They cost a fortune though so I usually get them at Xmas.

Your so very welcome Lisa, you would get on great with my dearest friend Annie, who has been a Betty Boop collector for years...the last thing we bought her a  Betty Boop umbrella from the  USA.

I whole heartly agree with you, about children today, there sure is so many things happening out there, you can't be to careful. I feel for you, your two children are  nearly at that age that they want to be independent but yet not quiet old enough.

I wish you, it is a hard place to be them but even  a harder place for you to be in.
