Howdy!
No, I'm not from Texas, although I do love that intro and always have. I am located in the USA, specifically in Indiana. I'm a divorced, single parent and mom to a wonderful 6 yr old (almost 7) boy named Nicholas (Nick). He is the love of my life as I'm sure that all of you consider your children the love of yours.
Although, my parenting resume consists of only having one child listed, I assure you that I am quite experienced due to raising or help raising many kids during my short thirty some odd years living on this planet. I am an adoptive mom, as Nick was adopted internationally, and I am a former foster mom. I also did a lot of babysitting during my teen and college years.
I hope to provide some insight to newer parents and provide friendship and support for all. I seek advice from wise ones who have ventured the same types of paths previously and hope to gain knowledge from their experiences.
