This post is from from my other blog here For the past several weeks I have traded my morning meditation for a brisk walk in an attempt to strip a few more pounds of fat from my body. When there is some awareness I also use the walk as an opportunity to observe the mind in action. I can tell you that this can not replace seated meditation, at least at my level, as there are too many opportunities for distraction.
