This post is from from my other blog here I received this from my sister-in-law by email - thought all you mums out there would like it.
Dear Mr. Thatcher,
I have been a loyal user of your Always Maxi Pads for over 20 years and I appreciate many of their features.
Why, without the LeakGuard Core(tm) or Dri-Weave(tm) absorbency, I’d probably never go horseback riding or salsa dancing, and I’d certainly steer clear of running up and down the beach in tight, white shorts. But my favorite feature has to be your revolutionary Flexi-Wings. Kudos on being the only company smart enough to realize how crucial it is that ...

This post is from from my other blog here It happens every time I move into a new house (which is actually quite a bit) - I get right into gardening.
And the urge is even stronger now that I have a bigger space to fill - so I have been planting and pruning and seperating and spending money that I don’t have on plants that if going by my past experiences won’t last very long. But I am hoping the dead plant curse only applies to the numerous times that I have attempted to grow herbs and that my beautiful flowering plants that I got for my birthday won’t ...

I can’t believe what I saw on the news last night - Big Brother Emma’s father has died, been buried, and she hasn’t been told about it.
You can see a story on it by clicking here.
I would have thought that they would have a duty of care to her - despite ratings- to tell her.
Shame Big Brother, shame. |

This post is from from my other blog here Well today I am 26! Good grief, it is weird to be so young but feel so old at the same time!
If you are wondering why I have been so quiet lately it has been because I am a little bit sick! I don’t seem to have really shaken anything over the last couple of months - think I need to start taking my vitamins - oh, and getting some sleep!
Going out tonight to my sisters to hang out with my girlfriends (click here to see pics of them!) for a little birthday celebration - a little like old times ...

This post is from from my other blog here With all this moving and sickness and everything else it seems I have dropped the ball a little - I have been tagged atleast twice - and by the same person, Bbanne, or Anne, who has a mumspace and another blog, Diva Days.
So here is my response to her first tag. I have to list:
1. Four of my favourite jobs
2. Four of my favorite local places
3. Four of my favourite foods
4. Four of my favorite international places
5. Four people to tag.
So here goes:
Jobs
Bartender (at times)
Journalist (when you get good stories)
Community director for mumspace.net (it is great meeting new mums!)
Mum - ...

This post is from from my other blog here Ok I admit it - I am a Big Brother tragic - I love listening to all the gossip.
But that Hayley chick has really gotten under my skin. She has her boyfriend Andrew so under the thumb its crazy, and she just keeps going on about how they are being so genuine with people - does she forget that the cameras are on them 24 hours? We can see that she bitches about people all the time - argh, she annoys me so much!
So now her and Andrew are being seperated - yay!! Get that annoying chickie out ...

This post is from from my other blog here This weekend was another write off - as I got sick yet again!
This time was a doozy - vomitting at least once an hour for 18 hours straight - it was a nightmare. I wanted to curl up in a hole and die, literally. It was lucky that Charley was at my mother-in-laws and I could get her to stay there another night, cause I needed Richie’s full attention to change my spew buckets!!
Luckily am feeling much better now so am starting to catch up and get back on track - but if you have gastro STAY AWAY!! |

This post is from from my other blog here It is my husbands birthday today - 36!! My mother-in-law took Charley for the night and I made him a special dinner and we stayed in and watched movies. There was one rule - we are not allowed to open the laptops. Oops. But as I look over to the other side of the room I see the birthday boy, tap tap tapping away, just like me. We are addicted.
Happy birthday baby - my turn next week! |

This post is from from my other blog here This week has been so busy catching up after being away for the weekend at Mums Night Out (check out the photos at www.mumsnightout.mumspace.net) that I haven’t had a chance to post, so tonight I planned to sit down and write a reeaalllyy long post. I had it all planned out it my head.
And then the vomit began to flow. First it was all over the carpet. Then all over the bed, the doona, and all over the carpet on the way to the bathroom where it proceeded to go all over the bathroom floor. And it was not mine. ...

This post is from from my other blog here I have decided that I am going to build a rollercoaster called The Hormone. It is going to start really high and then plummet you to the floor at hair raising speeds. Then it is going to bounce you up and doing a couple of meters for a bit, then spin you round and round until you are really dizzy. You then return to the top and think that the ride is over. But no. You will be plummeted down to the ground and the ride will start all over again. This will happen a couple of times until you ...

This post is from from my other blog here Was inspired to write this post by a new mumspacer who just signed up today - One More Bite , who is using her mumspace to keep a diary of her weight loss efforts. Ironic, I was supposed to go back to Weight Watchers today!
Now I am not a big girl - I used to be, but I have lost around 30 kilos since having Charley - I lost 10, and then 10 months later lost the rest.
But 5 kilos have crept back on, so I am getting a little paranoid. I don’t want to go back to being big! ...

So for all my new friends, welcome to mumspace. |

This post is from from my other blog here So the gods decided that things were calming down a little too much - and so when I woke up this morning, I had gastro. I have spent most of the day either in the toilet liquid coming out of both ends and clutching my stomach moaning with pain. Lucky though it was Charley’s day at pre-school, so she didn’t have to suffer my misery.
I’m spewing I was sick though, cause there is a lot happening that I would have liked to work on today. Here is a list.
