This post is from from my other blog here Especially when is dishes up some nice weather! Was a nice day today - some personal training for me and Rich and my cousin and her hubby (ouch - what a killer!) and then was just a nice day of hanging out, doing a bit of shopping that we can’t afford and then just bumming around the house.
Perfect - just the way I like it. |

This post is from from my other blog here Well my Nan is 81 today - and still going strong mind you! She still gets around in her little blue bubble, and my cousin and I took her out this morning to see Blades of Glory, which isn’t really my kind of movie, but it was funny enough for a Friday morning. Didn’t think an 81-year-old would like it, but nan seemed to love it! So HAPPY BIRTHDAY NAN!!

This post is from from my other blog here I am so sick of washing! In particularly folding it and putting it away. Cause Charley has been over the last week or so, the clean washing has been just piling up at the end of the bed and yesterday I just couldn’t bare to hunt through it for a pair of socks, so I put a movie on and began the arduous task of getting through it.
And it took me an hour and a half, and I am still not finished. There is another load in the machine and cause of the rain another lot in the dryer. And ...

This post is from from my other blog here Over the last couple of days I have realised just how good a little girl Charley is. Even though sometimes she drives me crazy when we are at home, lately when I have needed her to behave, she has been an angel.
Like last week when I was dashing madly around the shops trying to find a new outfit - she very patiently just followed me around and even told me what she liked and didn’t like. And didn’t complain or whinge once. And today, when I drove her out to get the car fixed, and then we went to the ...

This post is from from my other blog here Well I got a little bit of respite from the sick child today (who is well on the mend mind you). As well as having her sleep all night and then sleep in till 10, I had my MIL over this afternoon for a spot of babysitting while I had my hair cut and had a bit of time out - which was fantastic.
As I think I have mentioned, it has been about 7 months since I had my hair cut - and when I say cut, I mean cut. it is REALLY short again, but that is what I ...

This post is from from my other blog here Does anyone wrestle with their toddler to give them medication? I almost had to put Charley in a headlock this morning to give her Nurofen and her antibiotics after the "special drink" trick saw her turn her nose up with an "I don’t like it". So I had to go in military style - I wonder if anyone else has any suggestions? |

This post is from from my other blog here I’ve been a little bit MIA the last couple of days - I’ve been holed up inside with a sick little girl. Charley has a chest infection and hence a cough that makes her sound like a barking seal.
So I have her home from pre-school today, and will prob keep her home for the rest of the week - bar Friday when we are going to do something very exciting that I am going to keep under my hat for the time being!
So this post is a little drab and probably a little bit disjointed - but ...

This post is from from my other blog here Now because I am a bartender on the weekends, I make a hell of a lot of Long Island Ice Teas. And while I know they are really nice cause I have a little taste to make sure that what I have made is actually drinkable, I know that they are pretty yummy. But apart from that, I didn’t realise their charm. Until I went out for a friends birthday last night and had a couple. And I was drunkady drunk drunk drunk.
So here’s to the Long Island Ice Tea - and the headache that I have this ...

This post is from from my other blog here Am I the only one that gets thrown by a long weekend? It’s weird - during the week I have a comfortable routine, but then a weekend comes along and it all goes to buggery. So throw in a long weekend and I am totally screwed. Don’t get me wrong - I love them, but I always have to get my head back together by the end of them! |

This post is from from my other blog here Surely Paris’ PR people are working pretty hard now - after proudly proclaiming that she was going to do the time like a normal person and prove to the media that she is not the princess that she is, she has been let out of jail after 3 days. And is now a worldwide laughing stock.
Now I have never been sure about Paris - I thought that maybe it was possible that she was smart enough to be playing the PR game and that she knew when to be a dumb blonde and when to not and when to ...

This post is from from my other blog here Had some workmen show up in my courtyard this morning, saying that they were going to have to move all my stuff out of it and that it would be inaccessible for the rest of the week - naturally I bawlked - SAY WHAT!
I am so annoyed, cause number one I am working all week from home, number two Charley loves going out there, and number three I have JUST finished doing it all up with plants etc! And now they want to move it all out for a week!
Granted, I did get a bit of warning - but who ...

This post is from from my other blog here
Well today I was off to the Parents Babies and Childrens Expo with Michelle from Sydney Bubs. There was plenty to see there - however what I mostly found was that things were aimed at pregnancy and babies, and there wasn’t that much for actual children - and having a 2.5 year old, that is what I was looking for.
But Charley loved watching Dorothy the Dinosaur and patting the lambs in the petting zoo. And I loved all of the times that I was asked if I was pregnany - note to others: don’t ...
