Me me me!

Just home from yet another stint in hospital, my first for this pregnancy. Explains where I have been!

Have to get some rest now, but shall explain more at a later date!

Well I finally did it - got Charley’s hair cut that is! I had finally had enough of the screaming sessions every morning, it was just so painful!

So I finally got it cut. Just to her shoulders, but it really is a dramatic change. She looks so much older! Sure, I had to hold her down kicking and screaming and beg the hairdresser to just cut it, but we got the job done!

So we still have a couple of knotty issues, but for the most part, hair brushing isn’t so much of a drama anymore - thank god!

I have been so sick for around 2 weeks now, it is SO debilitating. Makes it hard to even look after Charley, let alone do anything else.

But this afternoon I feel like i have turned a corner, managed to get some stuff around the house done, and even though I am a bit tired, I’m feeling pretty good. Charley even seems happy!

So fingers crossed this time it will last - and I can get some stuff done!!

Didn’t realise that Rich had uploaded this, so thought the best place for it was on my mumspace!

Oh, I forgot to mention, lately I have found myself missing being a writer, so have started writing some reviews for Babyology, which is an awesome site that reviews really funky things for kids.

LOVING seeing my stuff published by someone other than me - has always given me a kick. Today’s post is one of mine, check it out.

Just a quick explanation of where I am - pregnancy hates me and I have just been told I have an infection, which is prob why I have been feeling so crap lately. And I have protein in my urine, which for anyone who knows anything about pre-eclampsia is not good.

So where am I? In bed, especially as today is Charley’s preschool day. Even though it is the first sunny day in a week and I am dying to get out into the garden and repot my jasmine climbers, which are going spastic which is great!

So I’ve been a bit MIA the last couple of days - been a bit under the weather, feeling really tired and run down to be honest.

Hopefully just pregnancy getting on top of me, but I have been getting some rest and will be back on deck soon - promise!
