For those of you that don’t already know (sorry, it’s been a hectic five days!), Toby Michael Pendergast was born at 9:11am on Friday 20 June 2008. We ended up going with a c-section, which went well a part from the fact that they had a lot of trouble with my spinal block, so I ended up numb to my cheekbones and unable to feel myself breathing!

Besides that, Toby weighed in at a healthy 3.35 kg and was 50cm long. Charley is absolutely besotted with her baby brother and we are settling in well at home.

The countdown is on for this baby! 39 weeks now and the end is definately in sight.

I’m in full cleaning mode - well, I’m not actually cleaning, more just ordering my husband around - and getting ready… and getting a bit nervous. I have been pregnant for so long now that it is weird to think that I won’t be pregnant anymore! And that I’ll finally be meeting my little man!
