My name is Lana and I had my three year old daughter Jade 3 weeks before my 22nd b'day, I'm now 25 and just moved to Sydney and don't know anyone and my partner of 7 years works all day so Jade and I are stuck at home. The area I moved to I tried joining a few playgroups but all the mothers were all over 30 which wasn't the problem the problem was that they didn't even bother getting to know me and I'd hear comments like look what the nanny is wearing to playgroup (jeans and a singlet top!) and other spiteful comments. Now I don't like to visit these places so I'd love to hear from other mums any age. |
