Life Experiences

Yesterday  i went to an Iranian Exhabition in down town Nairobi. It was an exhabition of products form Iran. They were also for sale. i have to say one thing i love about living here is i have had alot of opportunities to mix and meet with all kinds of nationalities from all kinds of backgrounds. i wouldnt have such an opportunity at home. I love it, it broadens your mind and you learn alot about our world. It is a great for my girls to know such a wide variety of people, i want them to learn compassion for all kinds of people. I think we need to encourage this in out world today.

Play Date

by Mandy460Comment Published at 01:4401:442 comments2 comments20 Visits20 VisitsReport
Today we went to Jazzy Hannahs (Jazzys friend) house for a play date. Her other little friend Tasha was there also. So cute to see the little girls play together. Hannahs mum was very prepared for them, with shapes cut out for sticking and painting as well as a million different glitter pens to be creative with. What a mess! They had a ball. I had thought Jaz was a lttle too young for this but she loved it, So it looks like i will be going shopping for glitter very soon!

Bare with me, Im New!

by Mandy460Comment Published at 05:4205:421 comments1 comments23 Visits23 VisitsReport

Hello,

Please bare with me as im 'very' new to Minti and still finding my way around. Actaully i have no idea what to do but im sure ill have it sorted out in no time!

Today i took my little girls to the Animal Orphanage here in Nairobi. Jaz (Jasmine) thought it was fantastic. The Animal Orphanage is Zoo of sorts, its where the KWA (Kenya Wildlife Authorities) bring orphaned, injured or victims of poaching. Its a safe haven for the animals until they can be released again.  Kenya is definately the place to be if you are an animal lover like us!
