Hello,

My name is Mandy. I am from Sydney Australia but you may notice a little Kenyan flag on my page and that’s because right now that’s where we live. I am married to a wonderful man named Eddie and we have two little girls who are our pride and joy. Jasmine who is 2.5yrs and Jaida who is only  5 months. Eddie and I met in Sydney . Eddie is Kenyan and was studying Aviation in Australia when we met. Now due to a career opportunity for Eddie, we are living in Kenya. We have been here for the past 5 years.

We visit Australia annually to cure my bouts of home sickness that pop up from time to time. It is hard to be away from home, especially when you have children. I would love my family to have more contact with them and for the girls to grow up with their little cousins. Kenya also has its advantages, so we try to do out best to manage somewhere in between.

Jasmine has just started Kindy (Pre-K, as it is called here) at an International Montessori School. It is 3 mornings a week, which i think it plenty at such a young age. She was getting so bored at home. I was worried about how she would go but it seemed the only one with the separation anxiety was me! I hid out in the car park for the first 2 weeks just incase she needed me... she didn’t!

Now that Jaida is awake, ill have to fill you in on the rest of our story later!
