Heee, heee,I know I go on(and on!!) about trees and it's probably totally boring,I'm probably the only one here that writes about trees, other people have lives,I have trees!!! But here goes again... Geeee, this is getting embarassing but it was neat...This morning because we had such a heavy frost the spruce outside had a layer of ice on the needles. As it started to melt when the sun hit it,it was quite bright and looked like the tree was covered in fiber optics, every colour of the rainbow shone off the tree for about 20 minutes,I thought of Janice and her Christmas tree all lit up!!!  Then I saw that we have the birds migrating down to the south already. There are a group of cedar waxwings, beautiful birds and lots of big loud and very interesting bluejays, they have taken to stealing the dogs food and can eat several large dog food chuncks before the dog takes exception to birds walking in his dish. On the up side (or not!!LOL!!) bunny and dog are still getting along...go figure????  This wild bunny has been here over a year now, happily eating everything. In the dry spell he ate all our plantings, when it got even drier he ate the roses up about 2 and a half feet,as tall as he could stand. Poor roses,I do hope they come back! So ...I think I'll go out now and try to find something interesting to do with myself!!! Have a good day all! p.s....heee,heee,don't forget to hug a tree today..it makes you feel so much better...as long as no one sees you! (that can identify you!)

Re: Tuesday
Hi
Booring booring...hell i wish my life was THIS booring.
I envy the pure simpleness of it
Wheres the pics of that tree....that is just a sight to be seen that i wish i could see.
Sends shivers down my spine imagining something so beautiful I am soo jealous
I have never even seen snow apart from the rubbish in my freezer when i try defrost it
Something like that would make my week
Gimme the trees anyday
If someone sees me hugging a tree i would be proud for them to identify me....i would be more ashamed doing the cutting down of a tree.
Thank you for being so awesome
Luv Deb

Silly dog, chase the bunny! And if you are boring, well then there's no hope for me! I hope you get bored soon and come back and write some more, or else find something short but exciting to do, then come back and describe it in detail! And that tree sounds amazing - we just had grey boring and rain today, so lucky you!

Re: Tuesday
Ha! It is funny to see the dog watch the bunny come through the fence and just lay and watch him hop over to eat....dog could care less! Hubby and I watched it hop behind the dog and the dog showed little interest,we thought he might hop on the dog. Yet the doorbell goes and all hell breaks loose.Oh well!!!

Re: Tuesday
Marg Marg I must agree you are so not boring.....  I love reading your blogs they are like having a little meditation session!!!  Write as much as you like about trees, I unfortunately moved from living on 4 acres surrounded by beautiful bushland, to a suburb with pretty much no trees.....  I miss my trees, I miss walking out my door and going to explore nature.....  so you see why I love reading your blogs.....  Have a wonderful day xxxx

Re: Tuesday

Oh I understand, when we moved here it was a shock, from rural to town but luckily this is an older neighbourhood with mature trees and the parks and ravine system is right near and around us. Actually that's what drew me to this house. It was wierd having street lights but really nice that water was always in the taps!!!

Re: Tuesday
Yep water in the taps thats the bonus lol....  I remember when we had blackouts which happened a fair bit, we would not only not have lights but no water, funny never thought to get a back up generator pmsl, we have a street light right outside our bedroom window, for months I just could not sleep and the stars at night just don't seem the same....  ahhhh I need to move lol x

Re: Tuesday
Marg ! You boring ?????
Not a chance
Besides I love hearing about your stories and fun with the trees.
I don't like the cold but you are right about all the colours being reflected through the ice, it makes things look so pretty.
I love seeing deep snow with no footprints at all but then I have an urge to walk through it and spoil it
Besides you gotta play in the snow haven't you??
xxx
