Haaa,haa,you are so cute!!!  As a mother with all her kiddies out and about I can say yes it is!!!  Kinda neat when they come back cause they miss you and need to come "home" when they need to recharge,neat that they realize what you did and how much work it was. But really neat when you find you like each other so much,not just cause you have to! Yah,it is so worth it all!

Lynette,anytime!!! I would love that! Can you chase bunnies??LOL! You are right,teens are rather special!! Actually wish I could get some of that attitude!! But they are sooo interesting!!! I found the boys so different from the girls,you would think teen attitude would be the same across the genders but it isn't. Boys are special problems,like their brains switch off and a dare devil takes over,risk is in their blood and it usually takes one thing to make them stop and think!!! I have found this through all my friends that have boys too! Wonder if it is world wide like that????? Hummmm,wonder!

Oh Annie you do need to get back there don't you!!  I hear from friends that have gone that it is so beautiful and a different speed of life than here!  We are a hurried place and very work geared!! It's still cool and we are getting half days of rain. Very odd spring and summer this year!

My dog doesn't mind the bunnies either!!! Crazy dog,wish he would scare just a few off then our roses would stand a chance,we have the shortest bushes this year!!!  People actually think they are our bunnies!! Give me a break! I am so worried about them getting hit by the traffic.  Haven't had any lost so far but if they were mine they'd be safe! We have had a week of rain too,hope your girls are well and that you are doing O.K. too!!

Where did they come from?  I know they were introduced here from England, with disastrous results - for hunting would you believe??  Anyway, I always thought they were native to England? 

Hummm,some of the fancy breed bunnies might have come from elsewhere but we have the native Snowshoe and Jack rabbit. Both large animals and very powerful.  What I have here in the yard is the native cottontail bunny which is a smaller version and some domestic rabbits that have joined the happy growing group!!!  The domestic is bred to have multiple colours and are larger, were the native cottontail is a dense fur with an undercoat but is usually brown,very pretty!!!! The soft brown coat is layered with darker guard hairs so it has a depth to the fur. The underbelly is white as is the tail which puffs up when they decide to move fast...which they can ...just not out of our yard!!! Haaa,haaa,gross bunny fact....hang on...rabbits eat their droppings. YES!!!!  The traditional droppings that are dark and "raisin" lke have been through a few times...yuck!!!

LOL!!  It's "summer" here and 10 today!!!  Well, we start summer tomorrow,I'm sure the change in weather will be huge!!!!
