I think next time, buy some to carry in your back pocket, then spell it out to DH or DS. They're new to this, they need some lessons! And men cant read between the lines, so nice clear instructions are needed, with nothing left to chance. Or better yet, drag along a DD or DIL. Or next time, drop the vacuum cleaner!

Hope your bruises clear up fast. Take care! Get out the cotton wool and wrap yourself in it (which is what I threaten to do with Em every day when she comes home from school with another bruise/graze on her knee)!

Poor Marg, Noone giving you any sympathy then I'm sending loads of it .You were so kind when I fell last week. Its funny I would have done the same thing SAVE THE VACCUUM and hurt myself.Hope your elbow is soon better
