I hope the growing pains don't return on Monday as I'm due to see the headmistress then to start the ball rolling on my teachers assistant dream.  There are some very nasty bugs going around here too,  I just want it to be summer and to stop getting ill all the time, is that too much to ask!!!

Afraid I didn't get the chance to try the woolie test, lol.  He's just fine now but that's no surprise as it's a Saturday wait to see if any symptoms return on Monday. 

I love helping out at the school it is just so rewarding even when I'm not being paid for it, so if I do eventually get a job it will be a bonus.

What a miracle recovery he's walking just fine today........but he does have a nasty cold, can't imagine how that could have affected his legs.  Saw the headmistress yesterday evening and she was so nice she will help me get some experience if I volunteer 6 hours a week and then apply for my NVQ course.  Really need to do this as I am just getting so sick of my job at the moment and it's just because I can't stand my manager and believe me I have put up with a lot of horrible managers in my time but this time I just can't do it anymore.  I jjust hope everything works out ok in the end.

I wondered if it was growing pains just didn't think they happened at such a young age (4 years) reckon it's not too serious so I'm happy to wait and see how he gets on.

Well not going to rush to the docs just yet my mummy intuition is telling me he'll probably be ok tomorrow.  Really enjoyed my time at the school yesterday, I normally volunteer to help with reading etc but this was my first time helping with a fair and it was great to meet other like-minded mums, they are such a great bunch.  Going to the school quiz night tomorrow so more fun to have hopefully. I really love the school my youngest goes to, it is so different from my previous experience of schools and it has such a lovely friendly welcoming feel to it.

Good idea haven't tried kicking them yet hehehehe.  I reckon he might magically find his legs tomorrow with it being Saturday and no school.   As for his brother he wants to go to school on his own on his bike, OMG I'm finding it so hard to let him go I know he is growing up but I haven't decided yet I'm too emotional

The human body and the human mind is most definately a conundrum.  Ever since his trip to the hospital he seems to have lost some of his (bull in a china shop) nature, which I really miss, he had no fear before and now he just crys all the time????

Not giving up on my dream in fact the more things that go wrong makes me all the more determined.  My weekend doesn't start till Sunday because I have to work on Saturday so yippeee to Sunday it's only two days away, lol.

Being a mum/doctor is not easy you have to diagnose every possible symtom your child has and I have to admit I've not dealt with this one before,  the pain he says is in his calves below the knee in both legs, how severe it is I haven't got a clue............but I do know that he has a very low pain threshold.  There is no swelling and I have given him pain killers and I know he was fine yesterday because he was with me at the school till 4pm. 

I really want to start learning how to be a teaching assistant but just can't seem to get this dream off the ground with one thing or another something always seem to get in the way, ahhhhh!
