At the very great risk of being politically incorrect - we went to the video shop yesterday and got the boys some playstation games.  The boys have been happily occupied since then, and I've actually had a chance to get some things done around the house.

Yes, they have also spent time outside, and they're back into their sport next week when school goes back, but for now, THANK YOU MR. PLAYSTATION for giving me a little of my sanity back!!!

As the sun rises in sunny Canberra, the temperature hovers at a balmy 4 degrees...with a wind chill factor of what feels like about -30...

5 more days of school holidays until my little cherubs trot off again to school for another term.  Today I think is cleaning day, so I will make myself a coffee, and try to entice the kids into some fun fun chores!!

I decided to start this blog, as I have never done one before and my life has changed quite drastically during the last twelve months or so.  After being dumped by my husband while 8 months pregnant with my 3rd child, and being on my own for 4 years, I met a wonderful man, who I married on 6 May this year.  We now have 5 children between us, 3 full-time and 2 every second weekend.  My kids have no contact with their biological father, but my beautiful man deserves father of the year as he is father enough for all 5.  I am the luckiest woman alive!!
