Congratulations.  What a beautiful boy!

Matthew, my minti mail will not work so am putting this in here. I've had advice reported (babies and solids) and cannot understand why it says that it is in breach of code of conduct. The girl who complained was not mentioned in the advice and I did not in any way put her down. She said that I said she would not make a good parent - I never said that! She said that I said she doesn't know what she's talking about - I never said that either!

I merely pointed out a fact to help her and others and that was that you do not need to boil meat. I said it was no offence to her. I did not even mention her name! It is ridiculous! We are all here to accept and receive advice. That's all I did - give advice. I thought that was the idea of this place!

Wow - thanks everyone !  Too many wonderful posts below to reply to them all in my short visit back home from the hospital so here is a huge GROUP HUG to everyone 

It is really wonderful to see all this positive feedback in my slightly sleep deprived state...  will show all these message to mum and Hamish when they get home in a couple of days (Hamish may not fully understand them yet but I still expect a smile   )

Hi congrats,I became a grandmother on friday and the funny thing is he was also going to be named Hamish but they changed their mind when he was born.He is georgeous.Wow he was big.congrats once again.
