1. IVF photo (Miss Cheeky Chops) of a day 5 Blastocyst (A thin-walled hollow structure in early embryonic development that contains a cluster of cells called the inner cell mass from which the embryo arises. The outer layer of cells gives rise to the placenta and other supporting tissues needed for fetal development within the uterus while the inner cell mass cells gives rise to the tissues of the body.)
The cells which became the fetus are in the area at the top right.
2. Miss Cheeky chops at approx 12 weeks gestation. In this ultra sound you can clearly see the spinal colum, and the outline of the facial fetures.
3. Miss Cheeky Chops at aprox 20 weeks gestation. You can see the skull and the facial features are very clear. Her legs are sticking up on the left hand side. The lovely man Ben who preformed this ultra sound told us she would have long legs - and she does.

Hi
This is awesome.......
We have a ultrasound of Jalan at appox....6 weeks old....she looks like a peanut......That was her nick through pregnancy........but the embryo version is awesome.......
Amazing what they can do now hey.......Ours are all on CD for Jalan which sure beats trying to look at the ultrasound sheets themselves.....I would have loved a 3d ultrasound.....

If I am blessed with another pregnancy I will definatly be having a 3d ultra sound. I'm sad that I didn't get one with Miss Cheeky Chops, but very happy with what I've got

Beautiful.

I think all this pictures are truly touching but the most beautiful has to be the embryo, it has a beauty all of its own and I couldn't help but to sit and look at it like I expected it to move or form in front of my eyes this must be the most precious photograph you have, a priceless treasure.

Beautiful.
The feelings that you feel the first time you see it are undescibable.
I think the closest woulg be hope and then joy.
It is a special picture to us.

Not many people out there would have  a picture of them at 5 days old.  How very special! Is the top picture parft of Miss Cheeky Chops' album?

Awesome!!
I count myself very lucky to have that picture. At the clinic we use it is standard procedure to give a photo of every embryo they implant.

Yes it is the first photo in her album.

Thanks for droping bye. I have missed your cheerful comments
