Taking a spring break with The Kite Runner

by minti-databaseComment Published at 15:4615:460 comments0 comments2 Visits2 VisitsReport
This post is from from my other blog here

The Kite Runner Oh no. The dreaded Spring Break is here. I have Monkey Boy and Boo Girl in a couple of Spring Break camps so I can have time for myself. It's only a few hours, which is enough time to stop by the library or local video rental store to grab a movie or two. I like to watch movies while I'm folding the laundry. Though with a movie like The Kite Runner, I find myself sitting on the bed, mesmerized and unable to much but watch.

Based on Khaled Hosseini’s best-selling novel The Kite Runner (paperback) (which is now ...

I just wanted to stop by and give you one of those big, electronic hugs that I love so much. I hope it helps, because you are such an amazing person. I found this blog looking up 'pink hair' and was sucked in by your writing style, and held here by your words. Do you know how much it helps to know that I'm not the only one out there feeling this way? Your words give me hope, even when they're sad. Don't know why.

But thanks. Please keep writing. Sorry if I sound like a spaz. ;)

Enter HP's "What do you have to say" theme contest and create a design for TypePad

This post is from from my other blog here

what-do-you-have-to-say I've been blogging with TypePad for over four years now. My biggest complaint was that their designs were limited. So I created my own at my various blogs like This Mama Cooks! and The Write Spot, and I think I've done pretty well tweaking what TypePad had to offer.

But due to pressure from outside sources (I'm guessing WordPress, both self-hosted and on WordPress.com), they're finally coming out with a bunch of new designs. I won't be changing my designs since like what I've created here on my TypePad blogs. And for my self-hosted WordPress blog, I've hired Girly Blog Designz ...
