William is a normal healthy 4 yr old child, born a perfect 3.5kgs always has a good appetite and has never suffered any anything more serious than a bad cold. He always met milestones early and is extreemly inquisitive and well spoken.
James started life out much the same way. Born 18 months after William at a heathy 4kgs he flurished during his first 18 months of life .After this his development started to slip backwards and he was daignosed with a rare condition called mitochondrial syndrome. He has global developmental "delays" , muscle weekness thoughout his entire body and no hope for a cure or even an effective treatment.
I work full time while dad stays at home, as James needs full time care. I wish I didn't have to spend so much time away. |
