We just had a fantastic weekend down at Daniels mum and dads for "christmas".  As Daniels sister just had a baby his parents are going down there to spend her Christmas with her. So we headed on down for our own christmas "shindig"!.  We had a great time, they have a pool, which is really all you need to keep me and Caitlin happy, and Daniels brother was home too so they spent the whole time playing with their old remote control cars. Had an absolute ball, regressed back to about 8years old, but its not very often that my husband gets to let go like that so it was great for him!

We actually had a fantastic traditional roast dinner with veg, and for once my belly was being good and I ate more than I have for weeks, it was so great! I wish I had Tracy to cook for me on a regular basis!

Well now we are home, But i wont be around much untill after Christmas, i am working all day next week as our receptionist has quit so they need me to cover, I'm not complaining, the extra money is going to be a godsend!

and we have our Christmas work party on Thusday night, fantastic, we are going to the sofitel for this buffet dinner, costs a mint, my boss pays but we cant bring partners, but we went there last year and it was magnificent, I swear I rolled out of there, they have a seafood bar, every type of roast imaginable, and I even had a pumpkin pie. Very american of me! Oh, and the best thing, A CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN! OH dear, I am getting myself too worked up.

We also have our Christmas luncheon and secret santa on Wednesday, with the leftovers for Thursday! Honestly, I am going to be the size of a house in no time!

But yeah, back to what i was talking about, I will be busy at work and parties and my mum is coming up to babysit caitlin for a few days so I can actually work so I will be busy with them. AND then there is Christmas, we are going to my parents for Christmas day, and on boxing day heading down to Kempsy to spend some time with my best friend Syndy, my brother and my darling beautiful niece! I am so excited, they just brought a little house in the middle of nowhere but they have a creek, and I havent seen them for ages so it is gong to be great. Except for my morning sickness and terrible terrible carsickness, but I have some ginger tablets and hopefully they will do the trick!

SO merry christmas everyone! Have a ball, eat lots, enjoy each others company and we will do the same! LOL!

Well Caitlin survived her second day of day care! and again no tears! Turns out she doesnt mind me leaving her. She had a little cling to my legs, then had a cuddle with the lady, waved at me and went off to play! Pretty cool! She only slept for 40 minutes again though, not good, my poor little girl was so very very tired when I went to pick her up. But she wont give up, no naps no matter how hard they tried, she just kept playing even though her eyes were about to drop out of her head!

I went over to Lisas for a cup of tea and she decided to lend us Rhubens play kitchen. So excited, Caitlin loves it and I couldnt find one that we could afford! I am having mothers group at my place tomorrow so the kids are going to just love having it here!

And I CLEANED! Ok, this is massive for me, I am just not a cleaner, but I cleaned and organised every room and am so proud of myself! our house looks livable again! Lucky it is going to get trashed again tomorrow with all the kids, oh well, it was good while it lasted!

Caitlin has some good little friends. She loves playing with my friend Lisa's son Rhuben. Well she does at our house anyway, at his house he changes into a green eyed jealous little monster, but that is a different story. So Lisa and Rhuben came over for lunch and a play today. Caitlin decided to have a massive 3 hour sleep today so Rhuben just played with her toys untill she woke up. They had a ball chasing each other around the house, its funny, that is almost all they do, just run around and around and around! We played outside for awhile too and that was fun.

Not long after Lisa and Rhuben left Megan dropped off Kye as we are babysitting him tonight while she takes her daughter Aaliyah to see the Veronicas! So they had a play, Caitlin honestly loves Kye. It was crazy, normally she ignores him as she is far more interested in following around Aaliyah, (big girls are so much more fun) and cause she wasnt here Caitlin firstly gave Kye piglet, which a massive act in itself! Then she gave him a hug! Oh it was so sweet, she gave him a kiss later on as well, and kept patting him on the head. I cant wait to tell Megan, she is going to find it so funny!

Anyways, we had a good day with friends and now i have two sleeping babies, ahhhh bliss!

Today was Caitlins first day of day care. And she did great!! NO TEARS! She was a little hesitant at first, just stood and watched everyone, but she joined in soon enough and ended up having a ball. They said she is a happy little thing, and quite a talker! LOL!

She even slept on the little beds they have there, I was a little worried as she doesnt like sleeping, so in a room with other babies where she can get up seeemed impossible, but they got her to sleep, once they found piglet anyway! She only slept for 45 minutes, and although the poor little poppet was absolutely exhausted she held strong and was "not tired mummy!"

So today went even better than expected for Caitlin today, she made lots of friends, loves Katie, the main girl in her room and I'm so proud of her!

We also went to my ultrasound today. It was technically a dating one but it was also to make sure all was ok after the bleeding and cysts and stuff but everything was perfect! AND there was only 1! Oh i am so glad, I was so scared about having twins, We both have twins in our families so there is a massive chance with each child we have. But yeah, everything was fine with the baby and I am now due on 23rd July 2008. So excited!

My eldest brother is getting married on 8/08/08 and I was going to be bridesmaid but that is now going to be out of the question. I just dont want to risk still being in the hospital, or what if I balloon?? My eating habits (when I am eating) arent that great at the moment. Anyways, I'm devistated, They understand, but I really wanted to be part of their day. I still will be of course, it just wont be the same.

Anyways today was a good day, had a quick chat with Merlin (Kate) and she is going ok, as well as can be expected at the moment which is fantastic!

We had a great weekend again this weekend. On Saturday night we went down to Megans for her birthday swim and BBQ. It was fantastic, we always have a ball when we go down there, and this was no exception! There were a fair few of us, 7 kids ranging from 9months to 9 years and 8 adults. We had a ball, it was abit cold for a swim, but we all jumped in anyways, the babies loved it! They thought they were so clever splashing around and screaming.
The BBQ was great, Daniel was designated BBQ man, he does love to BBQ, he is so Aussie! So ultimately there was good food with good company, what more could you ask for! it would have been fun if I could have had a drink too, but someone had to be dessy dave anyway, and besides, I havent laughed this hard for a long time, so I didnt really need the alcohol!
Daniel was abit crook this morning, had a BIG sleep in which is very unlike him. Oh and we set up the Christmas tree today! YAY! We havent had one for the last few years because we arent ever here for the Christmas vacation, but we thought Caitlin would like it this year so I am stoked! We got some new lights for it and everything, I will add a picture another day, feeling too lazy today.
The morning (allday) sickness is going ok, its better when I am out and about, I dont have time to think about it! Have stoked up on some mints and bikkies to help me out when I am sick and not hungry, so fingers crossed it will stop soon!!!
