I love photo Friday! Any excuse to show off Miss Caitlin and I am there! Here she is exploring our new kitchen cupboards when we got our new kitchen the other week. lol.

This is Miss Caitlin and I, I realised there arent any of the two of us on here, so now there is!

Had our appointment with the chn today. She was quite a nice lady. Gave me some more tips for Miss Caitlin. Is going to send off my referral for Riverton today, she also wants me to try to get Caitlin off the dummy, we will see how we go with that one though as she does love her dummy.You wont believe it though, over the weekend she was such a good girl and has been sleeping in her bed and actually sleeping, but we are just going to see how she is going by the time my refereral goes through.

I know its actually Foto Saturday but our computer had abit of a temper tantrum last night and wouldnt let me do it!

This is Miss Caitlin all rugged up when we went grocery shopping the other night. In a beanie and everything! Fantastic!

God I am tired. Caitlin still isnt sleeping. She hasnt slept through the night in quite a while, but this is absolutely rediculous, I dont think she can do an hour straight anymore. When she first started sleeping bad at night she was having a massive sleep during the day, but she hasnt done that today so I am buggered.

Caitlin has always had trouble going to sleep, but once she was asleep she was fine. But she never got used to going to sleep without screaming, adn now, I am at the end of my teather. I have booked myself an appointment for the clinic for monday adn am going to ask for a refferal to Riverton again. I had one when Caitlin was little, but i didnt end up going as I though we were getting better, turns out no. I just dont think I can handle it anymore.

Well it looks like Caitlin is finally getting better. There was only 1 poo today, fantastic! But MY GOD she was farting like a trooper! I tried to change her nappy a few times only to find nothing in there!

Hmm, too bad if you didnt want to know that!

But now we just need to work on her sleeping, she has only been in bed for an hour and a half and has already woken up twice, but luckily has gone straight back to sleep. BUT, today she had a nap for like 2/1/2 hours!! It was abit scary, I kept checking on her. So yeah, only one nap today for obvious reasons!

Last night was actually an ok night, she woke up at about 9 and only half hour of crying she was asleep again. And slept till 3.30, which is pretty amazing for her now a days. So she woke up and I gave her a bottle and she went back to sleep, untill 4.30 when she woke up screaming and just wouldnt settle, so I just brought her to bed with me and she went back to sleep till 7.30.

Hopefully tonight will be a good night as I have to be at the airport at 6.30 tomorrow morning to pick up Daniels brother. Ah, torture!

Today we went to the doctor as Miss caitlin has had diarreah for the last few days, so she has a viral infection, she can thank her dad for that one, and basically we just have to let it pass. If she is not good in a few days we are to go back and then she will have to have a few tests and stuff. Not good for my poor little poppet. But she is ok becuase she is still eating and drinking, if she stops wanting anything is when we need to worry.

So she also checked her out to see why she is so upset all the time and not sleeping and the doc couldnt find any reason. She even had a look for teeth for me (she had a light and a paddlepop stick, better luck than me) but couldnt see any. I am at a loss, I dont know what is wrong with her. She is sleeping less and less at night, I know the poo's probably isnt helping but this has been going on for awhile now. The doc said just to wait untill she is better and we will look into it then as there isnt much we can do now as we have to assume its her belly bothering her at night. Ultimatley she was a really nice lady. Not my usual doctor but I quite liked her.

So fingers crossed Caitlin will get better soon!!

I picked up my wedding dress today! It had been in getting altered, YAY! So excited.

We had a massive day today. It was Nicholas's 1st birthday, we went to Toy Town and had a ball, had lots of food and Carolyn brought a cake and it was great.

Then we went to pick up my dress, so very exciting! But now i have it at home which may be a bad thing as I am probably going to be looking at it and trying it on on a regular basis, oh well, at least I will get my money out of it! The whole $125 including alterations, the last of the big spender.

Then we went to Indoorpilly as I needed to go to shoobiz to spend my gift voucher I had for there as it runs out soon, and we were on our way and I was driving as Daniel was feeling sick, when I had to pull over so he could have a spew on the side of the road. Not to good. After that he felt just fine so we continued on our way, we got there and parked and then he started feelin ill again so Caitlin and I ran up and did what we had to do. Then we went home. I went to the chemist and got him something to ease his tummy, he is feeling abit better now luckily, but still is very ill. At least he is drinking water now though.

Pretty scary, it just came on all of a sudden. Had to keep Caitlin away from him this afternoon, but she knew he was in our room and was getting really frustrated at not being aloud in. Poor little poppet.

Well I had better go and check on the patient, and then get some sleep myself! Bye

Miss Caitlin is teething pretty bad at the moment and is not a happy chappy. She is also going off her food, and will only eat certain things like porridge, yoghurt and fruity cous cous. Not good, she is also waking up during the night. Two nights she slept with us as she was waking up so much it was easier, and warmer, but then the next night I think she was crying becuase of her teeth, and becuase she wanted to come to our bed. It was pretty upsetting. At one stage I picked her up adn she just snuggled straight into my sholder and went to sleep again, I feel so bad making her sleep in her own bed when she wants us but I just cant sleep properly when she is in with us. When she was little I was fine but now I am so paranoid that she will fall out that I wake up every time she moves. Wait, I have lost the subject. Ok, teething! My poor little baby, we have been giving her panadol and putting on bonjella but I just dont think it is enough. I was reading some advice on here and gherkins kept popping up, so I am going to buy them tomorrow and give them a try! Cant hurt, I am lost.

The worst part of it is I cant even see a tooth, I was so worried that she was sick or something else was hurting her but I just dont know. I wish she could tell me!!

Today was mothers group. We had it at my place which was fun. We are slowly losing people who are going back to work but we still have fun. Next week is going to be our oldest childs 1st birthdaty! How exciting! I am going to try to rearrange work so that I can come!

We had a ball today, my parent have brought Caitlin a plastic monstosity of a play castle thing and the kids had a ball playing in it! Worth it already!

I made a new reciepe for morning tea, it is a Pumpkin Scone Loaf. It was quite nice, it seemed a little moist to start with but it turned out quite nice so I was stoked! A few of the babies had a taste as well and there were no complaints!

Mothers group was really a lifeline for me while Caitlin was little, it gave me a reason to get out of the house and we were really lucky and have a fantastic mix of ladies.AND gave me an excuse to talk about my favourite topic! We originally had it at the clinic with a midwife an learned alot and now we just meet either at the local park or just at someones house, it is great as teh kids love playing together and its a good social catch up!

Yay, I love mothers group days!

Today was swimming day!

Miss Caitlin LOVES swimming, and she is so good at it to! She kicks and can turn herself around, she should be going up to teh next level but unfortunately that was our last lesson for awhile. We are going to stop over winter as she keeps getting sick after the swimming.

My mum and dad came and watched the lesson! Caitlin was well aware that they were there and was showing off! She loved having an audience!

This afternoon we are having a play date with Rhuben and lisa. Caitlin loves playing with other babies! I met Lisa in mothers group, which was a god-send to me and we still meet once a week, whoever can make it on Thursdays, and I have made 2 good friends out of it.

So ANOTHER big day for Caitlin, its a far cry from when she was tiny and I was basically to scared to leave the house!

We didnt end up making it to Big W yesterday so we are going to go this morning. yay! We have a very big day today, Daniels Uncle and his son are coming over for a few hours and then this afternoon my mum and dad are coming up to stay the night! So excited! 2 visitors in one day and a trip to the shops! Fantastic!

Ok, I am not very good at the whole blogging scene, actually, I havent done it yet so I am a blog virgin!

Well, now that is out of the way.

We had a shocking night last night with Miss Caitlin waking up very upset on a regular basis, it resulted with her sleeping with us, with her head on my arm. I didnt sleep very well because if I moved she kinda wimpered, it was very upsetting.

Today hasnt really been much better, she must be getting another tooth, the poor little bugger, she just got her top 4 all at once and they are still coming down! We went for a walk to the supermarket and she enjoyed that, which was good, she loves being out and about. She is just to nosy so she wont sleep in the pram but she loves just looking!

Daddy is home now as he only worked half a day, so she is FINALLY asleep, when she wakes up we are off to Big W to get some formula. That will be fun, I love looking around Big W and K-Mart and what not!

Well, I will write some more later, how did I go for my first time?
