We move into our new house tomorrow! I am so excited, its going to be so great for us. Like my brother said, a new house for a new little family!
Packing actually went well, surprising for us becuase we serially leave it all for the last minute!

We went to mothers group today and Caitlin had a ball as usual. But she got rather tired so we left early so she could come home and nap.

Her friend Rhuben came over today as well to play while his mum went to a doctors appointment. Caitlin really wasnt all to into it, I think it was because she woke up and he was here maybe? Anyways, she became a downright brat! It was terrible, poor Rhuben wasnt aloud to touch any of her toys without her screaming at him. She had a few time outs but eventually they became besties again.

It was so funny, he started following her around and eventually she took him to her new favourite spot, the empty cupboard in the spare room. So they spent seriously about an hour giggling and playing in there all by themselves. It was funny, you would hear one of them gabbling away and then they would both giggle! I swear they were in there telling jokes!

Anyways, better go, time for me to have a shower and go to bed! This pregnancy is making me so so so tired all the time!

What a crazy mood mother nature is in at the moment!
But lets start at the start, we spent the weekend "packing" which basically meant Daniel sat on his bum watching the cricket and I packed up bits and pieces and Caitlin unpacked them! Such a good little helper my girl!

On Monday I had had enough, I hate watching cricket, it was hot adn I am so OVER being inside! So Caitlin and I went to visit my friend Megan and Caitlins friends Aaliyah and Kye, We went for a swim and it was devine! Perfect temperature, the little kids went nuddie and Aaliyah had a ball showing us her diving skills. The little kids were so funny, they thought they were just so cool in the pool! Giggling and splashing around like loonies. We need to remember to take a camera, they looked so cute, they were leaning against the wall watching Aaliyah and Caitlin with her little white bum and Kyes little brown one, oh, it looked like the front of a friendship card or something.

So we finally made it home with promises that we will come back the next day to swim again. And it rained! IT poured! It was hot inside and kinda chilly and rainy outside, not as fun as you would think with kiddies who think that outside is the only way to play!

Anyways, I am kinda off the point, Daniel is talking to me, I know I am talented but I just cant blog and follow his conversation properly, damn, ok, I'm going hes asking me questions now! Like a bloody teacher, "You would know if you had been listening!" LOL :)

1. My favourite movie of all time is Dirty Dancing. I just love it, I swear I can probably say it word for word. I saw the stage-show when it was in Brisbane and loved that too!

3. My mum used to work in a toy shop and I got to play there during school holidays. Pretty fun!

Oh dear, this is pretty gross, but luckily I can see the funny side of it to!

Ok, on Monday night at about 11 Caitlin woke up crying, I went in there to see what was wrong and give her a little pat, and she had spewed. All through her cot, so I moved her to our bed where she went straight back to sleep and Daniel (bless him!) stared cleaning up her bed. I grabbed Caitlin and we jumped in the shower and I tried to clean her up as best I can, she was so tired she was actually dozing on my sholder in the shower.

Then it happened..........she vomited on me! Luckily it was in the shower, ultimately the best place to be vomited on............ but I am pregnant and sick and very sensitive with smell, and the feel of it, so I vomited...... again luckily we were in the shower! So Daniel came in and we were both having a spew and a dry heave, it was to much for him the poor thing so he went back to her room to grab out the mattress and air out the room.

She then went to sleep no hassle in the port-a-cot and woke up FINE! She was a happy little camper. She was abit off her food, and had a really big sleep during the day, but ultimatley she was fine.  So that was fine, that was funny, I had one of the ladies at work in stitches telling her about it today. And then there was tonight!

She had dozed off on Daniel after her bottle, I picked her up and started taking her to bed and I told her that she wasnt going to bed without a burp, I was still a little paranoid after Monday. And the biggest sound came out of her! And unfortunately a little spew which she swallowed back down. I was looking at Daniel and she says"mumma", seriously was like, hello! I'm still here, so I walk into her bedroom and was almost at her cot...........when it happened again.........

She spewed all over me! Damnit, not fair! 2 times in 3 days! Honestly for a baby that isnt "sick" as such that is just not cool! So I tried so so hard not to vomit, and daniel put us in the shower and cleaned up the floor (lino luckily!) and now she is sleeping in the port-a-cot again. What a lifesaver, will have to email my sister in law and thank her for giving it to me again!

Honestly, I think I could handle it if I wasnt so sick with morning sickness (mourning sickness, mourning the loss of my health! LOL!) But you have to laugh, honestly there is nothing else to do!

So smile!

Strange. I think its about 70% of Queensland (Australia) was effected by the floods, and here is Brisbane we are still on water restrictions as we have bugger all water in our dam. Isnt that crazy? Mother nature is a strange strange lady at times!

Poor people who had to be evcuated because of the floods, my heart goes out to you. My parents were flooded in when Lismore Casino went under, and she was telling me that they cannot get flood insurance. No one will cover anyone in the Lismore, Casino, Kyogle kinda area as they are in the "flood zome". I feel so sorry for you all. Away from you homes, no way to know what is happening and no insurance to cover all you have lost.

This is abit of a weird blog for me, kinda theological, but when you watch it on the news you dont really think about the aftermath and the effects that take weeks or months to fix.  So spare a thought for all those poor people.

I went for my Neucal Translucency scan on Tuesday.

All went well, everything is fine. I have an extreemely low chance of down syndrome, less than a 15 yo on the chart she told me. 

They werent able to see anything about a harelip or cleft palate, that is for the next scan. Daniel had a hare lip as a baby.  But I'm not to worried, well trying not to worry. Caitlin didnt get it, we dont think, she does have markings under her nose but they cant tell us if it was the start of a harelip which fixed itself or if it is just a strange birthmark or whatever.

But anyway, it was fantastic to watch the little thing wriggle up on the screen. And boy did it wriggle! It was so very active the lady was having troubles getting the readings! She printed us out the cutest picture, well it is to us anyway! It looks like a little alien as it has almost no facial features, but you can fully see its body, arm and leg so its pretty cool!

I'm having a berry apple pie with custard for dessert, yummo! Just waiting for it to hurry up and be ready! Hope everyone is well and happy!

We got the house!   Accompanied by a song snd dance!

So stoked, it is so much nicer than the one we are in now! And Forest Lake is a nicer suburb to tell people as well, hey, what can I say, I'm a snob a heart! A poor one, but a snob non-the-less!

Except now we start the packing. Oh its all coming back to me why I didnt want to move! I hardly even know where to start, Daniel has been fantastic though! I went to visit a friend this morning to catch up and offer a sholder to cry on with Caitlin thinking Daniel would love the time alone to read and chill out, and he mowed, and whipper-snipped the front yard, AND emptied one of his sheds and all the CRAP he had stored under the house. And whats even better, he emptied them into the trailer and took them to the tip! I am so very proud of him! And happy, we might not look like junk-yard-dogs at this next house with all of Daniels shed stuff gone! 

So yeah, round of applause for Daniel! AND the other day he was off work and babysitting Caitlin and while she was asleep he cleaned our bath! As we have a shower bath it gets really grotty and we had had non-stick strips down so when he removed them it was FOUL under them. He has been so great!

Hmm, ok, I guess that means I should get off the computer and do abit more too. Its hard to pack at the moment becuase we dont have to move for awhile but I think I am going to go and do the bathroom cupboard. yuck.

Pregnancy coming along, would be about 3 months, give or take a few days, I will figure it out later, got my neucal translucency scan on Tuesday. Pretty excited to see the little thing. Daniel is coming with me as well! And then we are going to SIGN OUR NEW LEASE! YAY!

I am working all week this week. I have just finished day two and I am utterly exhausted! And the train is knocking me around, I get motion sickness anyway, but I am usually ok on the train, but now I am pregnant it has all just gone downhill. So I finally make it through the day and still have to face the train . 

I have no other way of getting home either, I work in the city so driving is out, I would pay more for parking then I would earn LOL! OH well, 3 more days and then I am back to just 2 days a week. I can deal with that becasue I get a day off between them to recouperate!!!

Caitlin is not to happy about it either, she screams when I leave, especially at day care, thats what I get for boasting about how great she was there! Apparently she is ok after they calm her down but it is heart breaking to walk out on her screaming. She even chucked a temper this morning and she was home with daddy today so that is massive for her. Poor little poppet, she doesnt understand and I hate her thinking I am abandoning her!

We have applied for the nicest house, now we just have to get it! I had a lovely time chatting to the real estate agent though, so hopefully she will have the authority to make the decision and will pick me! It is new(ish) and so open and airy and lovely. everyone keep their fingers crossed for me!

Well I hope that everyone had a fantastic Christmas and New Year. 

We had a fantastic Christmas at my mums house, Caitlin enjoyed all the paddocks to run around in, and then we went down past Kempsy on Boxing Day to spend some time with my brother and his family. It was so fun, we had a ball on the 4 wheeler and swimming in the creek, and canoeing, but my sholders were killing me the next day! I'm definately not used to it!

So just a quick note to say hope everyone had a fun and loving time together, and got lots of pressies!!! LOL!
