The grey evil bird that i had just gotten passed away on Tuesday im not sure how long he was sick for and im not at my flat on the weekend so i couldn't keep an eye on him got home at 6.30pm Tuesday and noticed he was having trouble walking it was like he sleepy mum and Holly came up and mum think's it was worms, i made them worse because whenever i saw their dinner bowl was empty id fill it straight up again and the worms got nice and fat   Holly gave him lots of cuddles and scratches behind the ears and he really loved it they left at 9 i had a shower and when i came out he was still sitting where i'd left time 10 mins before with his head bent back he looked so uncomfortable- i picked him straight up and cuddled him, he was so cold and stiff then finally he moved his wings like he wanted to stretch yay! He's getting better he's moving again!  Then i realised he was convoulsing, he was finally dying i burst into tears pleading with this bird " you have to get better! Iv still got 9 tasty fingers you haven't tried to eat yet!" Silly naked girl clutching a convulsing bird to her chest oh dear im so glad i was alone  Then he went limp and i put him back in the cage the next morning i finally got up after putting it off for an hour, burst into fresh tears and wrapped him up and put him in the bin, the female was freaking out and screaming for him i felt so sorry for her, she is getting better but when she hears birds outside she calls to them and it gets softer and softer and finally she gives up when she doesnt get a response- it breaks my heart!

My belly button was crooked so i got it taken out on Thursday after work at Sacred Art at Hunter St Newy- OMG! so clean and proffessional, we were walking up the stairs and i could smell the chemicals wafting down the stairs- i wacked Mick in the chest- "Smell that!? Wow it stinks of clean! Damn i backed the wrong horse!" Holly Crap you should these guys! Very esy on the eyes (dont tell Mick!)- the piercings are a bit out there tho- they're on myspace the guy who owns the place Jake was cudling his little baby girl it looked so strange- i pierced guy gently holding his sleeping baby- wow! Kudos to Sarah at Cafe De France where i get the boss's lunch for putting me onto these guys- she is a life saver! So in a month iv got to go get it re-done and id like a different stud for my ear- somthing bigger and more bling! I wanna blind ppl when i walk down the st!  

Grrr Naught WReX! I pack my bags on Thursday night, friday morning after i clean my teeth i stick my toothbrush in my toiletry bag with the head sticking out so it can dry last night i put the bag on the ensuiet cabinet when we got to Mick's a few hours later we hear WReX chomping on something....he'd plucked my toothbrush out of my bag and destroyed it! It was chomped in half and mangled- im so glad i left a spare at Mick's grrr! This dog will eat anything! What the hell am i supposed to do when we have kiddies running round the joint i cant keep everything up but i cant keep WReX in the back yard he's always been an inside dog i dont want to banish him just because our lifestyle has changed- im stumped!!

Luisa is moving out next week to another house around the area but Mick and i cant move back- i dont have a car and even if i did im not driving by myself just yet! And Mick's pay is all over the place atm Mick is going to speak to Uncle Renee or however u spell his name and see if we can move in, in a few months i hope we can i love that house and il be next door to Maria again hoo ray!

My weekend took a turn for the better! Spent Sat night with Holly finally gave her her present and she loves it! Mum and Holly were so suprised that i went that far it was the best night seeing the look on her face.

Mick called me last night saying the cops called him wanting to make a deal, if he says sorry they will drop all the charges!??! WTF Why didn't they do this 9 months ago? Before Mick lost his nursing job because of this? OMG Poor Mick! He was so cranky and told them he'll see them on Monday when his lawyer is present....

Went down to Terrigal and i got two piercings! the top of my ear and my belly OMG cant believe i did two at once-im craaazy! And it didnt hurt so much! lol she was poking the needel into my belly and im like this isnt so bad is it done now she replied no i haven't started yet BAM Now i have!- OMG OW OW OWWWW! Hahaha the girl that was after me was so scared after hearing me i have to admit i did put it on a bit i couldnt help it! ll her friends were freaking her out haha Mick was quiet and barley said anything leading up to it even when we were in there he was so good and so supportive! Gosh i love my Mick! And afterwards we had Cold Rock IceCream YUM! It was Mick's first time trying it he loves it now! We're thinking of going there for holidays soon the Crown Plaza is right on the beach Cant wait!

Having money probs...mick needs 1500 or his lawyer wont represent him on Monday so i transfered it out of my savings account, no $30 intrest for me this month ...and im not sure il get it out before Monday...i think i put a limit on it when i first got my card i cant remember so Micks stomping round the house like a spoiled brat and he's working today so not sure if he can take me to get my belly done- you would think if ur gf has given u 6000 ud bend over backwards for her especially if u didnt have to do much just drive me down and drive me back honestly i feel like sh*t i know he's just worried about court and not being represented and his lawyer should have given us more notice!...Hopefully it will all work out.

I asked Norelle (my practise manager) about the peircings i wanna get and if they're ok for work, i pointed to my belly and my mouth, she thought i wanted to get it in my chin! Haha eww no! not keen on face piercings! i have to call the place up i completly forgot yesterday im hoping they can fit me in today and that Mick can take me down

On a good note Joanne the local Cat Lady called me again last night and said she's found another ginger cat she's going to call me today because i couldnt remember what colour his feet were and we were driving so i couldnt get my laptop out to check all the photos of Ollie. Iv been writing notes on him today:

Desexed, 4 orange stripes on his head, white belly with orange spots, white pointy tail with orange rings, white chin...and he'll cow kick you if u try to tickle his tummy or blow rasberries on his tummy- yes im a mad mummy! He is the most laid back cat im shocked i didnt get scratched into stripes!

OMG i might get my baby back! Its so hard not having a body to bury there is always What If? in the back of your head. Someone could have found him in Morrisset (the next town over from Bonnells Bay 5 mins in the car, managed to get him in their car somehow he freaks with new ppl and any car! But it could have happened! They get him to Bonnells Bay he escapes and finds lots of new friends in an old house Makes Perfect Sense!

Joanne has started to trap the abandoned house down the road from Micks and i told her id be glad to help out anyway i can since im a few houses up most weekends she was really suprised and happy im not sure what it involves and she said some of the cats are so feral they have to be euthanaised i think i better wear padding or il get scratched to bits! RSPCA told her if she traps them then takes them the half hour drive to the RSPCA they'll take them and she has to make a donation to them- Thats BULLCRAP! This organisation is supposed to be helping animals! Honestly the RSPCA makes me so mad! If u get an animal get it from ur local cat/dog/bird etc lover! Who do it off their own backs,who are only in it because they love the animals and dont want to make a profit GRRRRR! Is it just NSW RSPCA that is so mean? That show on Seven seemed to put them in such a good light! Maybe its just the QLD RSPCA that are nice??

Anyhoo so im super excited and sitting on my phone till she rings! If it is Ollie im going to go straight out and microchip him! And il be moving in with Mick a little earlier-i dont want to be apart from Ollie ever again! Lol dont tell Mick i wont move in for him but for my kitty cat sure! Haha

Oh and crankyyyyyyyy about my genetics! I got a second opinion and got told the exact same thing! Arrgh! Why couldnt i get my dad's eyes! Lovely Blue!!!! Waaah! Stupid Mum Stupid Genetics! Would my kids get a throwback eye colour? My half sis got red hair from mum n dad having brown hair- werid hey?? We freaked when she was born she had white hair and we thought she was going to be albino haha! Poor bubba oh she called me 4 times yesterday, 2 voicemails, 1 txt. All in half an hour! She really wanted to talk to me i called her and she wanted me to sleep over last night but i was so tired and i didnt finish till 6 so wouldnt have gotten down for another hour ugh! She was really apoligetic that she was calling me while i was still at work lol im like its fine sweetheart but i gotta be quick how bout tomorrow night? She's like ok! I tried calling her after work but no answer il  call her when i know what the hell is going on today...

Went to the optometrist today got my eyes checked and was told my eyes are too dark to get contacts  tell me, should i get another opinion?? And i need to get glasses although couldn't find any i liked  you know that line at the bottom of the chart? I could read it and i thought it was a trick that no one could possibly read it amazing!

I caved and got the 8gig iphone yay! im synching it at the moment....very boring atm...Karly wants to come up for the weekend so she can hold the camera and take pics while i get my belly done i think il take my iphone and listen to music really loud so i dont know when she's going to do it haha im such a wuss!

Yay pay day tomoz! nothing exciting has been happening...but it's only Hump Day!

Had a fantastic night out last night and i have to say my family is NUTS...il fit right in! My Aunty Betty's arm is in a sling after coming out of a cast her explanation...'i was hanging out the washing and the furniture attacked me!'. Mick and i turned up to the station hotel just realising i didnt have any mobile numbers, wouldn't recognise anyone just as i was about to panic i saw a bunch of Michael Jackson WannaBe's walking towards the hotel- Thank God it was a theme im saved! I hurried towards them and explained i was a cousin of Kate (the party girl) and could i tag along as i didnt know anyone turned out Kate was in this group and i got a great big bear hug and severly chastised for not being in costume and dragged inside after wandering around and asking ppl if they were realted 'i got a few strange looks from strangers, told they were boyf and gf of family lol) I was eyeing off ppl's arms hoping to find Aunty Betty to tell her i got here safe and finally found her- let me tell you that woman goes 100km/hr i cant imagine what she's like when she has two working arms!

Found out my family go to a local gay bar  then it was explained that Kate takes care of disabled ppl and the only place they are made to feel welcome is at the gay bar so the whole family ends up going there... was sitting chatting to my cousin Mark and a lovely man named Tim when Tim got up to get drinks i asked how i was related to Tim knowing full well i wasn't...but better to be safe than asume. And found out Tim is my second cousin-in-law although technically they haven't legalised gay marriages (which i think is a load of bollocks!) And they've been partners for 11 years! Gosh and i was excited about me and Mick being together for 3-iv got along way to go... Mark lives on Darby Street so the next time Mick and i are having brunch (Darby Street Newcastle is a great place to eat) il go wake him up and drag him along.  Poor Di (my nanna) keeps on trying to set Mark up with a nice girl lol has no idea and im not about to tell her that's Marks business My Great Ma Rest In Peace apparently told Mark "Oh these gay lifestyles i dont know about them, but you be careful dear." And that was that Mark didnt know how to respond had never told Ma she's a very cluey lady tho and so classy and thoughtful i really miss her

I got Aunty Betty's camera and spent the night taking photos a few ppl grabbed the camera off me so i got to be in some shots i hope i get a copy eventually....

Still have Hollys pressie....will get it to her eventually at least i have it!

Spent Sunday organising all the things i want to do iv got 26 odd so far super excited but nervous and dont know where to start! Went to the new KFC and bought a little dinner for Mick and myself, Nanna and Pop (Micks nanna n pop although pretty much mine now too!...i just adopt ppl...dont get too close- il adopt you too!)

Melissa (Micks sis) wants to get a tattoo next week im helping her look at designs honestly tattoos dont interest me 1- the pain 2- its permanent and i change my mind way too much! 3- when im old and saggy it will look disgusting. Melissa wanted to know why dont i get my tounge and belly done earlier? Told her i dont want to have a mouth full of tounge and trying to pass myself off as a professional medical receptionist haha and the patients would laugh at me! So il do it when i take my holidays. She understood that but asked about the belly and really i have no answer so its got me thinking about maybe doing it earlier Micks fine with driving down whenever i want to do it and we might go and explore Terrigal and have some lunch at a local cafe while i recover from my insanity of disfiguring myself- should be fun!

I have been so busy this week even though it doesn't feel like it...

My little sis turned 13 on the 07.08.08 the night before i got a txt saying 'its my bdy tomoz' Holly must have a new number because i didnt have it saved in my phone so i msg back saying 'who's this?' knowing full well who it was hehe no reply after 20 mins i msg again ' is this my lil sis?' reply straight away 'im not little ani more im 13 tomoz'  i msg back 'ul always be my lil sis sweety doesnt matter how old u get' and we msgd the night away. I just thought that was so cute and i wanted to share

Went to Kotara Westfield and picked up Holly's necklace that i had to get ordered in it is so beautiful i love it! Hollys going to be so stoked im so flaky with gift giving this will suprise her hehe and they gave me a discount instead of $250 i was able to get them for $178 Woo Hoo! Super Happy Mel!

Can't wait to get pics of the necklace on Holly! And i wrote her a little keepsake letter i hope she likes everything iv never done anything like this before, taken so much effort Hopefully i can give it to her Sunday depends how im feeling after tonight....

Apparently i have family living up near me and they invited me to a cousins 30th tonight- im so nervous i almost burst into tears i wish dad could come with me i wont know anyone! And they all know about me! Dad told me not to worry everyone will love me and fuss over me, and that im like 'a living legand', from what i went through with Mum, what i went through being born and premmie and that im his daughter (dad's words!) That's just made me more nervous! These ppl know all about me and i dont know anything about them it just feels strange. Mick will come with me to give me support  its a Michael Jackson theme....i dont have anything like that...oh well

Stupid Bird and Stupid Mel i got my birds Sunday, Monday we got up at 5am load them into the wrx and take off to Warners Bay 1/2 hr trip then set them up at my flat. Tuesday i decide i want a cuddle...bad idea! Their wings aren't clipped, they haven't been handled in four years and they've just been uprooted and moved they take off screaming around my room after alot of running around i grab one and he turns round and sinks his beak into my finger! It was so deep and the only thing i could think of was to bite him back- yeah he won all i got was a mouth full of feathers  i get them into their cage and sit on the edge of my bed blubbering while watching the blood well up, it was so deep it didnt bleed for awhile after 20 mins i finally calm down and clean myself up feeling very stupid, the next night while i was talking to Mick i told him what happened and he got upset i didnt call him, i told him it wasnt a big deal and it was my own fault, he replied 'but u were upset and crying i want to know if ur upset!' Aww i feel so special...

I checked my height and im 157cm! I finally had my growth spurt! i always thought i was 154 woo hoo! I weighed myself last Tues 29.7.08 after lunch 42.15kg! I always thought i was 40kg woo hoo times 2! weighed myself 7.8.08- 43.35kg! 1.7kg in a week! Hehe 08.08.08- 12.40pm (before lunch) 42.65kg  i lost 0.7kg i ate lunch and weighed myself at 1.15pm exactly 43.35kg! My lunch is 0.7kg hahaha i thought that was funny- Mick thinks i should keep a food diary and write the times when i eat as well i dont know it seems like a lot of work...does anyone else have any input on wether i should or not?

I booked into the optometrist to get my eyes checked on Wednesday to get the contacts hope it goes well!

I bought a new bag on wed i love it my other one was falling apart! Its so big i thought there is no way il use il use all that space....damn Murphy's Law its chockkas now! lol

Star Jewels were i bought Holly's necklace said they can custome make an engagement ring for me, thank god im way to picky! She told me some horror stories of guys trying to pick an engagment ring and the gf not being happy, geez its just a ring! But i wouldnt send Mick out to buy me a ring that im going to have to look at for the rest of my life especially since how can i expect him to know what i like when i dont even know- poor boy his head would explode!

Bit of a situation on Thursday- we have the methadone doctor in and long story short they didnt label their urine so we had to get them to do it again they refused and took off then we called them and they were told if they didnt come down nd give us a sample we wouldn't fax their scripts for their methadone well they didnt like that and they abused us so badly over the phone- i was so scared they'd come back down Norelle told me if they did too go out the back im so glad they didnt go off in the surgery. That made me so nervous on a Thursday im there for an hour by myself at the end of the day its dark and usually the docs have gone home, we dont have a panic button either. I used to think a doctor's surgery would be the safest place to have a pregnancy, but now im not too sure, so many germs and sickness i had to get a whooping cough booster because we've had 8 cases this winter- il talk to Robyn about it in Sept 09 but does anyone know what germs i might pass on to my baby? I got coughed on yesterday yuck! We've got Hep cases and a yellow man ( i rubbed my eyes when i saw him!) something about his liver. But im just wondering how safe will my baby be? Don't worry- i know im a complete worry wart and a stress head!

Fantastic Weekend! Went to the pet shop and bought a net to catch the cockatiels with and went round to Pio's so Mick and Pio could catch my birds! I wish i had my camera but Micks taken it cause he's gone out driving with his friend who has a white WRX to take pics  They are just so cute! A grey with a white line down his/her wings and yellow face with red cheeks and a yellow/white with red cheeks, i bought Polly (the family budgie) in and sat their cages next to each other to have a chat hehe its very noisy atm! Lots of chatter  can't wait to get my camera back to post some pics!

Spent a few hrs at Nanna and Pops today while Mick and Luisa washed their cars and Nanna's car- i vacummed nanna's car for her and helped her with her gardening, Luisa went and drove her boyf monster car to nanna's but didn't end up washing up. Nanna and Pop are looking after a Sheltie so gorjus!! And so timid and quiet i didnt hear a Boo out of her all day, poor thing, her owner commited suicide by sliting his throat so his mother took in the dog but has gone o/s, that poor woman finding her son and the poor dog watching your master do that  

I got $30 intrest for July! I thought i was only going to get $20 Woo Hoo!

I got Lee's numba il have to msg her and see if she still wants to get her tounge done. Im going to go the piercing lady at Terrigal. Kerry n Pio made me feel very welcome and told me i wasn't bad at all  i feel better hearing it from them.

A patient finished seeing the doctor last week and i billed her, everything was normal till she looked at me- W.O.W! her eyes were amazing i was just gobsmacked i told her that her contacts were such a beautiful shade of blue and were did she get them because i was looking for some trippy contacts, she said she bought them over the net and they were perscription (damn!) and she wished she never got them cause everyone was noticing her. Hmmm i dont understand that id love for ppl to look at my contacts and wonder if they were real, id tell them they were and watch them try to figure out if i was lying or not haha- although thats just me i love to mess with ppls heads  they were such a bright blue id love to get a purple pair lol im obsessed with purple! Does anyone know where you can get contacts? I dont have a clue where to look...il try googling it and see what i find  if i ever do find contacts il post pics hehe

I passed! First go! I got my green P's I'm a legannnd! I couldn't believe it when i was told i passed! iv never passed anything to do with my license first go!   I ticked two of my four goals, my P's and my camera, silly iphone still isn't in yet hopefully next month…   kind of ticked my work goal to get through a box of patient notes got through half and was able to move them to the next box, poor Chris has got 42 files to get through by the end of August  we'll see how that goes…as long as we're moving forward that's the main thing!   Told dad I got my p's and he got chocked up and had to go- he was so proud of me he cried! I think also it hit him that he's missed out on so much and he wasn't able to see any of it =( I love dad so much im so glad he's a part of my life…and il make sure his grand daughter/son are a part of his life, I know it wont make it up for me being out of his life…but I hope it somehow helps   Mick and Pio need to get a net to catch my cockatiels because they aren't tame and Pio said when they bite they draw blood  I hope i can befriend them they're 4yrs old..it's not too late is it? Il take it slowly and have lots of chats with them i know one of them loves a chat already!    Mel

Finally met Pio (micks boss) and his lovely family on Saturday we got invited to his daughter's 25th bdy that night. I met the birds he's going to give me they are so cute, a white and a yellow one the female came up for a chat she's very talkative  Mick and Pio are going to bring them up to my flat this week. hehe im such a pain in the butt! Stopped over at Maria's with some afternoon tea and had a catch up and gossip session, love seeing her! And she loved the yoghurt i bought for us  Went to the party at 6.30pm Lee (bdy girl) was making tequila sunrises, im not a alcohol drinker so they were something different. It was a small gathering at Pio's house alot of the ppl were childhood friends and i decided to 'let my hair down' when Lee said let's do 'Lip Sick Suck' i said ok! But u have to explain it to me, we were going to do our second when she got caught on the phone, well, i snuck in 4 more before she got off and ended up by passing the lip and suck and used somebodys tequila sunrise that they left unattended as a chaser Mick almost crapped himself when he saw i what i was chasing i didnt care it had pinnaple in it! By 9.30pm Mick said we should go home, called his mum. By that stage the room was spinning when i was sitting Ugh! so i stumbled into the car thinking i played it cool and Micks mum didnt have a clue pfft yer right! The next day Halle was over she went to the bathroom in our ensuite and didnt quiet get her bum on the seat- big mess! thankgod it was only urine! i went and got her clean pjs and got a warm damp washer, when i told her to "spread 'em" her little leg almost wrapped round her head so flexible! Micks mum came down to see how we were both going and asked if i was feeling better  Guess i didnt hide my intoxication very well! Disinfected the floor and gave Halle a piggy back ride up to the flat where Micks mum lives Melissa came up and told me she opened the door to us last night i stumbled in almost sent her flying and whispered to her 'im smashed but shh dont tell anyone!' OMG! So embarrising! Im just glad i didnt throw up or miss the toilet!  see i wasnt that bad! Thankgofd i only drink once in a blue moon lol but for how little i drink dont i do it in style and leave an impression??

Called Mick today and he told me Pio said i was welcome back anytime and that i didnt embarress myself too much. Thanks sweety!

Im not sure if it was the drink talking but Lee said she'd get her tounge done with me, i have to find her number to double check lol

Cleaned out my email box on Sunday night- nothing to strenous for Sunday hahaha still need to tell Mick December isn't looking good for us moving in...maybe i can string it out, i need to still find a car i could string it out till next June maybe??  So not looking forward to driving!

Anyhoo i better go find some dinner...Night!
