I am a single mum of a very active little girl. I am currently studying full time to complete my dipolma in remedial massage. Sophie is a very special girl, as from a little girl she was diagnosied with multiple food allergies, that are life threatening. I have learnt to cope with these allergies and I now don''t see them as a problem, but other people do. majority of people just think that i''m an over protective mother and I should relax.

Time for an update, I have now completed my Dipolma's in Remedial massage and I am now a quailified to practice in sports massage, myofascial release, reflexology and aromatherapy (I think thats it). I has taken two and a half years to complete, but I am very proud of myself and I am now contemplating in going to Uni to complete a degree in physiotherapy.
My little girl has just started pre entry at kindy and the begging of next year she will be going to kindy 4 half days per week  . Sophie is still highly allergic to Nuts, Eggs, Dairy, Rye and Horses and it doesn't look like she will outgrow any of her allergies until she is closer to her teens at this stage, but still hoping she does. It makes life interesting and sometimes difficult, but I would not change her for the world. She has also been accepted into one of the best schools in the area, but the only thing now is that I have to save, save, save, but it will all be worth it in the end.
I'm still single and as all my friends keep telling me, that there is someone out there for me, life is a little lonely every now and then, especially when Sophie is at her fathers. but that is another |

where do I start, I have a mountain of School work to do, I have support group tonight, and my daughter just wants mumy to play with her. i just wish i could make her understand, that mummy needs to finish off her scholl work and then she can play, i feel bad at having the tv on most of the day, but it's the only thing taht stops her from asking me every 10 minutes if i can play,
I knoe it's all for the best and i'm doing the right thing, juast wouldn't mind so me peace and quite, for and hour, to finish what i'm doing. |
