Hello everyone, been a long time but I am back, just haven't seen the time to be on the computer very often, I hope all of my minti friends have been well and that their wonderful little ones have been healthy and happy! All is well here, Hannah had her bday last week .. I cant believe that she is 3, seems like just yesterday I was bringing her home from the hospital! Will is nearly done gr 1 which I am not looking forward to, he gets bored so easily, I can see it being a very very long summer vacation. Ok I am off to make supper, cant wait to get caught up on all the minti happenings!  Oh and this pic was taken on Mothers Day at the local zoo...

Ok so it has been a while since I blogged .. naughty naughty me, nothing has really changed here, christmas and new years where fun, sooo glad it is over and Will went back to school today .. woooohooooooo ( hope that didnt sound toooo happy lol ) . We have had the usual colds ear infections etc, oh ya with a few cases of pink eye thrown in there for fun .. YUCK!!! Thanks to whoever gave that to Will the last day of school hahaha. Hubby recieved a promotion at work, still waiting for a pay raise, which would be nice .. kids are soooo expensive. Oh well, I am just glad life is starting to get back to normal, I had the xmas tree down and all the decorations away by Dec 27th ( does that make me a scrooge or a bad mom? haha )

Hard to believe a whole year has gone by since I held my newborn daughter in my arms, she would have been just under 3 hours old right now, where has the time gone. A year of firsts for her, first smile, first roll over, first sit up, first crawl, first word, first stand, first step . *brief pause while I gain control of myself .. sniff sniff* . All my love to you my sweet Ayla and to your brother and sister too, I look forward a long and wonderful future with you!!! My birthday wish to you is to always be happy, healthy, and wise! You are my 3 and last baby and will always be my special little surprise bundle, and no matter how old I am or how old you are you will always be my baby!! I love you.

As a special treat I thought I would add this picture, it was taken a few weeks ago, it is Ayla and her grandma, and yes that is how she looks and acts whenever anyone but mommy holds her!

Well what a long week it has been. Visitations, funeral, a wake, all in 3 days, hubby was gone for nearly a week, he gets home and all we have been doing is fighting, I think his mom brain washed him lol, I always have been and always will be "that woman that took my baby away". Oh well.
On a wow note, Ayla walked for the first time yesterday, one step, then two, then three.. but today nothing, tried several times to get her to try, but she doesnt want to haha. I am a bit sad today though, this time last year I was pregnant for the very last time, sniff sniff, Ayla will be 1 tomorrow and so ends the saga of my baby years!!   *Eyes welling with tears for the millionth time today*
I hear the kids fighting over something so I guess I will go, amazing how quiet it is during the day, until Will gets home and Hannah just has to argue and fight with him over the smallest of things!!!

Ok well maybe this is just me ranting about something trivial but I am really annoyed right now!!! I just wrote an article for advice on my son having a christmas cookie decorating party and as soon as I was finished and tried to publish it , it was reported because I used the word knife, which was a very innocent word in the context as it goes along with plastic .. plastic knife that they use to decorate the cookies with .. argh .. I realize that sometimes comments and advice get reported due to abuse etc, but come on, it is getting out of hand, everytime I come on here something has been reported. I think that eventually people will stop writing advice articles because you never know if they will be published or not because you put a certain word or phrase in it! Ok there is my moan for the day, maybe I am alone in my thinking, but as I said I am very annoyed!!!

My sweet little baby learned how to give kisses yesterday, so it was a day of a million wet sloppy goopy kisses, the best feeling in the world!!!
I cant believe that in a matter of days Ayla is going to be 1 years old, I think I cry every day, I almost think I have become slightly depressed over the idea, my very last baby isnt going to be a baby anymore!
Everything else is ok here, all the kids are sick with nasty colds, been going on for weeks now, getting tired of wiping noses!!
Will is doing great in school, has a steady girlfriend from the other grade one class, they plan on getting married haha, tried to explain to Will that there will be alot of girls in his life between now and the time he gets married, after all he is only 6, but he is adament about marrying Makenna! Very cute!
Hannah on the other hand has developed a multiple personality of sorts.. one moment a sweet and loveable little girl, next moment wild temper tantruming, purple faced, hand and teeth clenched , screaming wild child!! I really cant wait for the terrible 2s to be over, I never had this with Will and well I will say it is really playing with my emotions, feel like I could just break into a run for door somedays !!!
Oh well ... hope everyone has a great day, I am done ranting like a crazy woman for the day!

Wow where did the week go .. ok so tommorrow is actually Friday.. but it is close , an hr and a few mins till tommorrow haha. Have guests coming on Sat so I dont think I will be around tommorrow as I will be scrubbing and cleaning every surface( I dont know why I bother though, the kids have it trashed not long after!!!) Anyways here is my contribution to photo Friday, it is of my darling hubby Bill and our 2 year old Hannah  last weekend at the county fair, and yes it was FREEZING that day .. hence the hat and WINTER jacket, oh and it snowed here off and on ALL DAY TODAY!!! I am just not ready for winter yet!!!

Well here goes .. my first attempt at photo friday!! Oh and on a side note .. Happy Belated Birthday to my sweet boy Will . .the big 6 now!!!! Thanks to Izzy for the email to explain how to add photos .. hopefully it works .. I am so totally computer illiterate .. something goes wrong with the pc I leave a sticky note on it with an oops I broke it again .. just for hubby .

Ok its been a while since I have blogged ... the days just seem to get away from me, but I just had to write about my unbelievable level of stupidity yesterday. My loving hubby bought me a beautiful stove that was being delivered yesterday so I pulled out my old stove to clean out underneath of it. We have a very old home, nearly 100 years old, so my stove outlet is not in the wall like normal houses, instead the box is on a 5 foot long cord that was tucked into the space underneath the stove. Well I thought I would be nice to the delivery guys and unplug the stove and push it out of the way .. ya right. Well here I am .. metal box that should have been in the wall in one hand, plug for the stove in the other .. pulling with all my might. Well I manage to get it pulled out half way when it gets stuck, so stupid me puts my fingers in the space between the plug and box to try and pull harder and touched the plug prong with my finger .. ZZZZZZZAAAAAAAAAAPPPPPPPPPP .. wow took for about 30 seconds or so to let go. Made a complete connection, from the left hand, through my body to the right hand. Well I thought I was ok, called hubby at work, told him what happened, listen to him yell at me for a few mins haha, then called my friend. After I was done talking to her I didnt feel well, had this metalic taste in my mouth and was having troubles walking and swallowing. Call hubby again, he rushes home and takes me to emerg. Listen to the dr give me the speach about letting trained professionals do that blah blah then sets me up with a ecg, as the volt went straight through my heart, as well as took 8 viles of blood to be sure I didnt damage my heart or organs. Off he goes to see other patients, and here I am on the bed, waiting patiently. Then I got cold, so cold, cant even tell you how cold, nurse happened to walk by and saw I was shivering uncontrollably, gave me a whole bunch of blankets and called the dr over. Apparently my feet, hands and lips where blue!! Said I was in shock but it would wear off, and that all my tests where fine thankfully! Sent me home, I was exhausted and freezing, but happy to be home. Poor Hannah had to sit here watching me pull off all the sticky tabs from the ecg, but was so sweet, hugged and kissed me after each one!!! Today I am feeling better.. can actually feel my lips and nose, which where completely numb by the time I got to the hospital but my throat and tongue are  crazy sore, dr said I  burnt both of them quite badly .. so my advice for the day .. Dont do what I did ... electrocution REALLY HURTS!!!
