Well its true. Not only did Xavier sit up on his own, and say his first word this week, he is now crawling as well. What a great week this has been!

 Little bugger sat up on his own and said Dadda all in the one week. I honestly thought this would be the one child to say Mum first. Guess not lol. Its so cute when he reaches up for Joe and says Dadda to him, wanting a cuddle. Hes such a sweet little boy.

As our beautiful country glows red with flames tonight, spare a thought for our wonderful Rural Fire Service, the only fire service in the world that has volunteers. There are 42 fires in NSW alone tonight, and hundreds, most likely thousands of Aussie men and women risking their lives to save our homes. These people truly deserve a medal and every last one of them are heroes. On behalf of Minti I would like to thank them from the bottom of my heart.

At 12pm today, I am calling on all my fellow Australians to run out into your front yard and ask everyone you know to join you in a rain dance. This isnt your traditional rain dance mind you, turn your stereo riiiiiight up with your favourite song, get the kids out there too, and for the entire song, dance your butt off! WE NEED RAIN!!!!!!!! lmao

I just got my little fatty, Rora, out for a play, god shes getting huge, surely those babies cant be too far off now! Whoa. I feel like ive run a marathon lmao. I took the dog for a jog for the first time in... um.... about that... and holy crap dont i feel stuffed now lol its been a while! Was starting to forget how it felt to run. But i remember now. and i also remember why i stopped doing it. Ugh!

Omg how stressed am I at the moment? Nathen and Jaryd went to their dads this weekend for an access visit, and I got a call from their dad last night asking what was nathens medicare no so he could take him down to the medical centre as he thinks hes got whooping cough? so here i am freakin out then he takes him down there and the medical centre goes it aint whooping cough its croup and get him to the hospital asap. Earlier that morning before his father picked him up he was fine, had a bit of a sore throat but no cough, i cant believe how quickly he got worse. His father rang me 45mins after they got to the hospital and he still hadnt been seen, his father was in the middle of telling me what was going on and then the battery on his phone died. First thing this morning i woke up and tried ringing the hospital, and there was no answer. ive barely slept a wink all night and im stressing out soooo bad about my baby, youd think someone would let me know whats going on wouldnt you?!?

Omg I had the most awesome day today. The boss gave me the day off work so I could go see Nathen off to his Orientation day for kindergarten, and I have had the best day ive had in a long time.The whole school thing was a bit daunting at first, well to begin with I was really excited, but I could see Nathen was a bit scared but trying to be brave. When we got to the school and were about to get out of the car, he started to cry and got all awkward and I tried telling him that its a great school and he will make a ton of friends. Eventually he cheered up a bit and was great at first, jus checking out the scenery when we got there and making his mind up about the place, and he was fine, UNTIL....... (horror music please, people) MUM LEFT. (reeet reeeet reeeet!{ok bad horror music impersonation, i know}) yeah so here I am trying my best to be brave and leave him and put on a strong face, and i totally failed. here comes the lump in my throat and the tears in my eyes, and the big squeaky voice, "bye nathen have fun mummy will see you soon" and with that i exited stage left and took some deep breaths. and all i could hear was "muuuuuuuuumyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuummyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy' oh god i thought. and with that joe grabbed me by the arm and made me leave. and that part totally sucked. we went to the hall then to listen to the principal and some teachers talk about the school n stuff, and once again i thought to myself, youve made the right choice. i went there as a kid, and so did nathens dad, and we both think were doing the right thing and that he will be in good hands. but during the talk from the principal, all i was worried about was nathen sitting in the classroom bawling his eyes out for an hour while i was gone. boy was i wrong. we went to the classroom after hte principal stopped talking, and theres nathen sitting with a bunch of his new friends, holding a picture he had just made, with the most MASSIVE smile on his face. he looked so happy and totally fit right in with all the other kids. 'did you have a good time?' i asked him. (as if the smile on his face wasnt enough) 'oh yes mummy can i come back again soon?' and as my chest swelled with pride and the lump in my throat came back again along with the tears in the eyes, we walked off and headed for home. 'of course you can mate, youre gonna love it here.'

Omg how cool is this! im not on the diet anymore but im still losin weight! I think it might have been just the thing i needed to get my metabolism a bit of a kick start. and guess whaaaaaaaaaaaat! MY NEW JEANS FIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! woooooooooot woooooooooooooot! mony is a happy mummy today lol yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah! :D

We took the kids 4 wheel driving last weekend, with the help of Joe's sister and fiance, he is a volunteer fireman and knows all the fire tracks out in the bush, it made a great day out with the family, we all had a ball, except for Xavier who spent most of the day asleep, and Harley who was at his mums for the weekend.

This is Jaryd, Korina (my neice) and Nathen in front of a fire truck when we stopped at the fire station for a wee break. They were so excited to see how big the truck was, and I loved every minute of how amazed they were. Its so much fun showing my kids new things. I really love being a mother and being able to show them the world. Isnt it an amazing feeling?

Knew it wouldnt last. I lost 2.5kg and it was hell doing it! looking forward to all the yummy foods i will be eating from now on in. (i like to call them depression foods lol)

Hmmmm... Well day 3 is here. Not feeling all that much lighter, (ive lost a kilo. whoop de doo) and really not that much healthier either. the mood swings and dizziness have kicked in. took the day off work today coz i knew all id do would be snap at people. 4 days to go...
