Happy new year to eveyone, i really hope you all have a great year! 

Last night the kids got to stay up for the fireworks, and luckily the rain held off so it looked really fantastic on tv. A park near us in Parramatta holds fireworks each year, which we can see from our house, so I tried taking photos but they turned out kinda crap but il show ya anyway. Im sure theres people on minti with better ones lol and look who i found sharing the bed with the boys last night. they all crashed out on the sofa bed and somebody looked quite comfy the bloody bed hog lol have a go at this:

Ive decided that my new years resolution is to lose weight. But im a hopeless junk food addict. I LOVE THE STUFF! its gonna nearly kill me giving it up but i want to get back to the skinny person i used to be.

so ive come up with this fandangle idea of inviting other minti users to come join me. so far ive got a stack of people who want to do it, kinda like that tv show, biggest loser. im currently waiting to hear back from some certain people who are a bit higher up in minti than i am, to get the approval to make it into a big minti-event. yeah i know i have big hopes and dreams lol so far its looking good, im just waiting to hear back from the minti-bosses! lol

so far my idea is for people to jump into certain groups, eg particular types of diets or excersises that they prefer, and we all rally after one another giving due support along the way.  we would have a weekly weigh in, and after a month, minti's biggest loser would win a prize. before and after photos would be great too. im not too sure what the prize would be yet, maybe for the winner to be featured as mintier of the week or something? im very much open to any suggestions about this at this stage, before it all gets set up, so any ideas that you have, please email me. the more input we get on this the better.

Well thank god that's over. Im stuffed!!! And I wasnt even the one to put on xmas lunch! The boys had the time of their lives, and got spoiled rotten, and as it was xaviers first xmas, im surprised how quickly he got the hang of the whole xmas present opening thing. He had a great time.

Well today marks my first day off work for two weeks.  I am sooooooo excited. I have 2 weeks of non stop fun with the kids ahead of me. Ive been looking forward to this for sooooo long! Man Im happy at the moment lol can ya tell?

I cant believe weve gotten so much done in two short days lol. Yesterday we bought the kids a quad for xmas, which X has already had a go on, but since he cant talk yet its all good, as the other 3 kids were at their other parents houses for access. So we took x down the park with the dog because joe was just itching to have a go on the quad himself. (something tells me he will be riding this thing more than the kids lol)

we had been saving up for it forever and i am so glad we bought it. i just wish x wasnt wearing such daggy clothes when joe took this pic lmao i cant get over how good his balance is. for a 8mth old he aint doin too bad. i didnt even have to hold him (even though i was less than a foot away from him coz i was shittin myself that he would fall off lol) and omg while im having my brag, he has just started pulling himself up on the furniture. hes not fully up yet, just the low bits of furniture, like the bottom shelf of the tv unit n joes cd box n stuff. something tells me hes gonna b an early walker lol

but anyway, back onto my jam packed flat out weekend, then we took the foster bunnies to the vet this morning for their shots, then we came home and got stuck into the yard (omg wasnt that a mission) and i finally tackled some of the washing that had been building up. im still not done yet, but theres only 24 hours in a day and i have about a weeks worth of work ahead of me. yay. can you hear the enthusiasm in my voice? im just jumping out of my chair with excitement.

anywho, im off to read some q&a's.

Meh.... Weekly weigh in is pretty average this week. Only lost a kilo. Whoop de freakin doo lol The appetite suppressant part is working great, but the fat burning bit sux big time. So at the end of week 1 im weighing in at 75kg. Now excuse me while I run, but my dog who is sitting next to me just farted.
