Well we went on our mystery photo shoot today, and ended up at my favourite place as a kid. It's a creek in Winston Hills. I used to go here whenever I was upset about something, and would feel so much better once I left. Its changed alot over the years, but as you will see its still such a beautiful place.

Im sitting here at my desk (obviously) with my fiance sitting next to me. And I swear to god he is the most feral person in the whole wide world. He is sitting here NEXT TO ME cutting his toe nails and plonking them on the desk in front of him.... eww.... (his excuse is "where else am i sposed to put em") ah- anywhere but near me.... i hate feet with a passion. and then he finishes off his toenails and moves onto his fingernails, and he starts off with his pinkie and goes 'oh no, my trusty nose-picker.' i just took one look at him and dry retched.

which got me thinking.... what on earth is it that attracts me to this person? i mean other than the fact that hes a lovely guy and a great dad and fiance, but thats besides the point rofl hes a grot!!!! (sheild's arm from possible whack for writing this lol)

nah im only joking, i love this man to death, and strangely enough, its the gross things he does which make me love him more. i dont get it but god i love him!!!

But they didnt work out as well as I would have liked. (Im a perfectionist when it comes to photos.) Harley was at his mums and Jaryd was asleep, so I am leaving the creek photos until I have all the boys available. Im really looking forward to that one though, because I have the perfect spot in mind.

I got Nathen to try his new school uniform on today, Ive gotta say he looks so grown up, and it really suits him!

So here they are of me and the family in qld.

The pic of the car is where we slept the first night in Qld. The first night was the night from hell. We had a blow out on the way up (at Redcliffe) and ended up at Caboolture hospital (we got towed there) coz the spare tyre didnt fit, mum and dad had only just bought the car recently and the dickheads that sold them the car sold them a rim that was too small to fit for the spare. anyway when we changed the tyre when it blew it didnt fit and ground on the rear left caliper (the tyre which you can see) and shredded the metal so we couldnt drive it.... long story short we got towed to the hospital, caught a taxi round to all the local motels which cost us $20 something bucks just to find out that all the motels in the area were booked out due to there being 3 weddings on this weekend. We ended up sleeping the night in the car coz there was nowere else to stay. The next day we spent most of the day with Nanu (my grandfather)which was wonderful since we hadnt seen him in so long. That night my sister and I hunted down the local pub since we had never had a drink together away from one of our houses, and on neutral ground,  It was great, look forward to it happening again, minus the freaks. (I swear my sister and I have ' freaks come talk to us please'     written on our foreheads in invisible ink that only freaks can read. (long story dont ask)

Hiya guys im finally home woooooo friggin hooooooo! lol in all honesty ive never left my family (or minti) so long lol and it really was a long time away and so much can happen in 4 days. I got home to find 4 boys missing their mummy very much,  with lots of cuddles to give me which i had missed out on sooooooo much, i rang them as much as i could but nothing can replace the cuddles, they were so nice and i missed them so much, wow taking time out to concentrate on other things really makes you take a step back and realise how much you miss your family its unbelievable. If words could explain how much I missed my boys I would write it here, but in all honesty, I cant. As much as I enjoyed seeing my family again which I hadnt seen since I was 10 or 11 yrs old, (and dont get me wrong, you know who you are, I really am proud to call you family. And mark my word, if I can organise it I will be back at easter) but all that aside, nothing can compare to coming home to the family that you have created on your own, and who you would give your last breath for. God I missed my boys. Its amazing how much they can grow up in 4 days. I look forward to speaking to all my Minti friends again, how are yas? Heres a big arse MWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH that I owe the lot of yas, lol Ive been slack! I havent been able to find an internet cafe and I really do apologise. Ugh! It feels like forever since I was able to make some decent input on Minti. Just to let you all know, Im still alive, but I have no internet at home at the moment since the idiots on the construction site across the road from my house cut the wrong phone line and the whole street lost their phones. Telstra have since recieved stacks of abusive phone calls from ppl on my street, along with Joe getting right up em, and we have been promised a technician to be out here first thing tomorrow morning. (hmmm we'll see since its been sunday it was cut off.....)

Anyway I hope everyone is well, everyone at my place are good, X has his first tooth, how exciting lol and he has also taken his first tumble down a set of stairs but is fine lol its all happening at my place lol

Well I gave Anuke a bath this morning and she was soooo hypo when she got out, (I love when dogs do that lol its cute) so I thought what better opportunity to take her and Harley down the park to play fetch. I was feeling a bit photographic (opposite to photogenic which is why i was behind the camera not in front of it) anyway heres the pics. Ya like?

HOT WEATHER SUX!!!!!

we lost a rabbit to the heat, she died in DH's arms. he did everything he could to save her, but she couldnt hack it.

im sick to death of this. its the 3rd rabbit weve lost now, and the 2nd this month alone. (the first this month wasnt due to the heat tho, he was murdered grrr)

anywho, just venting.

Well my holidays are almost over, I have 11 hours of freedom left and then Im back to the confines of my demountable dust filled office where I will sit minti-ing all day, answering phones, drinking lots of coffee and perving on sweaty tradesmen and wondering what the inmates for the new prison we are building, did that was so bad that they have to be locked up there. Considering its a maximum security prison, the mind boggles.....

I am going to miss being able to check my minti-mails whenever I want, not just when noone is near my desk, and cuddling my boys and fiance whenever they come near me. I wonder what my colleagues would do if I did that to them, let alone one of the sweaty tradesmen lol!

Im gonna miss being able to stay in my pjs all day just for the pure reason that i couldnt be bothered getting dressed, no more of that since I will be up at 5am.

Here's to being free no more. I'll miss you, dear freedom, my long lost friend.

Lol Harley decided that he was gonna make everyone lunch today, so Joe and I decided we would leave him with the kitchen to himself and see what happened. (we werent far away but he didnt know we were checking up on him lol)
