Just got a call from the owner of Partner4real and he said that I didnt win the comp. The winner will be announced on Nova 96.9fm tomorrow at 11.30am.

Ok so a few ppl have been asking me when am I gonna blog my date with Paul from monday night so here goes.

I'll start from the beginning.

So theres this guy called Paul who is looking for true love. He signed up on this dating site called Partner4real who were running a competition to go to Paris.

Well first they had to choose their bachelor and Paul won. So then he had to live in this glass house at Circular Quay for a week, and pick 20 girls he would like to date. So he did and I was one of them. Yay me!

So monday night I went to the glass house with him for dinner and drinks and heres how it goes:

I had to get public transport in coz I friggin hate the city let alone driving in it. I caught the bus to parra and there were major diversions in Parra CBD coz a truck hit a pedestrian. Didnt I shit myself. I thought I was gonna be majorly late coz it was a huge diversion. Anyhoo, I ended up gettin there half an hour early, I was kinda surprised!

I met the owners of the website and the site manager, and they showed me around. There was a band playing (that girl had an awesome voice) and Paul was inside getting ready, dancing around being a goose. He looked like a great guy from the outside of the house and was even lovlier when I went in.

So the site owners dragged me off to sign a release contract saying that it was ok to publish me and anything I did, and I just waited around for a bit longer til it was time for my date. There was a bit of a crowd gathering, and it was kinda cool!

My friend Mark took me out during the day coz I was broke as all shit this week and he bought me an outfit to wear on the date. I dunno what I would have done without him. He got me the hottest slinky little red top (that sucked my gut in so I looked good rofl) but it was so bloody cold and windy coz it wasnt far from the water that I had to put a jumper over it so you couldnt see the top. How much does that suck!

Anyway the site manager came out and mic'd me up, I was surprised at how light the battery pack on it was! We waited about another 5 more mins and it was time. The band cleared their stuff away and in to the glass house I went.

Paul greeted me with the traditional italian kiss on each cheek, and a hug. He was warm and welcoming, and had I been nervous Im sure he would have calmed my nerves right away. But Im so used to being the centre of attention with my line of work that I wasnt nervous at all. (thank you Rodney! lol)

We were chatting for a while, then our menus were brought in and we got to order dinner. There were so many nice things on the menu I couldnt decide! So I just waited for Paul to order his steak and I told him x2. We washed it down with a bottle of nice red, and the rest is history!

Ooh I found out he lives near me too, how cool is that! Small world!!

He was such a lovely person and I dont think they could have picked a better bachelor. I was a bit worried that it might of gotten to his head a bit, like it does to most competition winners, but he was so down to earth it was great!

So where to from here?

All the girls he has dated get to go to a party at the glass house on friday night, and there will probably be an after party somewhere in the city. Or so Im told. So if youre heading out towards Circular Quay on friday at about 5ish or a few hours after, coz Im  not sure how long the party goes for, come down and say hi to me! We will be outside, so I should be able to talk. Yell out 'hiiiiiii monyyyyyyyyy' in a huge voice rofl.

Hmm so now Iv gotta go buy a hot dress for the party tomorrow hehe.
