Well this is the 3rd time Ive written this and I really hope the computer doesnt crash this time.

I got bored today and decided to explore my new surrounds. I packed Jaryd and X into Beryl the Beast (my car) while Nathen was at school and we went on an adventure.

First, we explored part of the local forest. It is the most beautiful place I have been to in a very long time. And I can definately see it becoming the place I go to to chill out when things get too stressful. Its the kind of place that as a girl I would have imagined fairies living. It was sooo beautiful. The pics dont really capture it but theres just something about this place from the minute you get there.

 

Once we were done there we headed off to the local waterfall:

Then we continued driving for a bit and did some 4 wheel driving in a hatchback, that was fun lol until we got to a flooded road, but decided to go thru it anyway lol.

So that was our day.

After that I went and picked Nathen up from school, only to find he has gone up a level in his reading. Yaaaay! He is now on level 3. He is very behind, so that was a huge achievement for him.

Well my little man started his new school today, and he says he had a great time. And already he has 25 friends! Mr popular indeed lol

His teacher is lovely, as is his principal. We are loving this new life we have here.

Well he really hasnt done anything over the top for me to boast about, but he just took us down to the club and we had chinese for dinner, I know its not much, but we had a REALLY great time.

The kids were on their best behaviour, and we saw a friend down there that we hadnt seen in ages. So he came and joined us for dinner, and we had some drinks, and it all went great! It was soo good! (I never go out, usually I hate it, but this time I was really in the mood. I got all dressed up and was just really looking forward to it. Even my bf commented on how good I look, as Ive lost a bit of weight recently and I really went to a bit of extra effort tonight. And I mean, he's a guy. Unless its the first time theyve met you, they dont notice when you look really good. Pmsl.

And hows this.

My mother in law is soooo good lol. I get along with her better than my bf does, and that wierds him out a bit but you can tell he is glad we arent arguing constantly with one another. She is always offering to babysit, she loves the boys, which is a total culture shock to me, as my mum never babysits for me, even if I ask her to do it for an important doctors appointment, or court date she is like 'ohh its the biggest hassle bla bla bla', and I was talking to the MIL about that the other day, and she is like, 'kids are a gift to be cherished ,they arent kids for long, we should make the most of it'. Im like OMG are you serious? Where have you been all my life rofl.

Oh yeah and hows this.

When we were down the club, he says to his mate, 'sorry I havent been in touch lately man, Ive been pretty busy lately with Mony and the boys... its pretty full on' And he had the biggest grin on his face. Apparently lately whenever he runs into his mates, coz hes well known around town, being a small town and all, all he can talk about is the kids and I. And its all good talk too, no bitching. Woo hoo! And the majority of the night, apart from when we were eating, he had the kids on his lap, like the proud step-daddy, I swear it was the sweetest thing, I was so proud. Before he really wasnt a 'family guy'. But lately, probably over the last month, he has really settled into the swing of things, and is loving this parenting role. He has a daughter in QLD, but never gets to see her, so this is like a 2nd chance for him, and he is lapping it up. I even caught him the other night whisper to X, 'you're my favourite' as he gave him a big cuddle. Naughty, I know, but it made me melt all the same.

Finally, it seems like my tables have turned, and for once in my life, I seem to have made the right decision, relationship-wise. Im head over heels in love, and life is good.

Well as some of you know, Im really interested in web design and in my spare time I love making new websites.

A while ago my bf and I decided that we would try our hand at designing a dating site. Im yet to create one that caters to exactly what we want (we have a certain edge that most sites havent thought of, but are having trouble implementing it into a design software that we like) but we are using this one to iron out the  faults.

Its been alot of fun making it, and although we havent implemented all the features we want yet its still proving to be quite successful. Id love to hear any feedback you have, if you get the chance to check it out.

Please be careful not to go there with kids in the room, or with your boss around though, as there is a naked lady on the front page.

Just wanted to thank everyone that's been hopping into my lounge to wish my family and I a happy easter.

I was sitting on the loo earlier, and my bogan of a boyfriend opened the door and made me scream lol then next thing I know the door opens back up a crack, and this tattooed arm reaches in and hands me a beer. WHILE IM ON THE BLOODY TOILET!!!! ffs u cant get more bogan than that rofl

Lately Ive been really stressed out and dying for a break from the kids.

So my bfs friend invited us all around for dinner tonight, and my bf went and rang his mum and asked her if she will babysit for us. How cool is that! Weve never had a night out together without the kids so Im really looking forward to it. And I cant believe my mother in law is babysitting for us, she jumped at the chance. My mother has never babysat for me in 6yrs so I could go out so Im really really stoked.

Im in the bloody sin bin again. *pounds hands and fists on the floor chucking 2yr old tantrum* GET ME OUT GET ME OUT GET ME OUUUUUUT!!!!!

On the 29th March this year I am turning off all my lights and other appliances at the wall for a whole hour to reduce my power usage to help reduce global warming.

My proposal is that you too, will join me to help make this planet a nicer place for our kids and our kids' kids in the future.
