This is the life!!

Hi everyone Well where do I start .....I was born in Glasgow Scotland and arrived in Australia when I was five. My Dad was in the Navy (now retired) thats why we came over - we are not very close at the moment. Mum and Dad divorced when I was 12. Anyway moved around alot, lived in Townsville and Perth now I am back in NSW which I have been for the last 20yrs. I am the eldest of two brothers and one sister. I have three children - two girls (13 and 5 ) and one boy 4. My youngest daughter has been diagnosed with ADHD and my son was diagnosed in 2005 with Austism Spectrum Disorder - he is severely delayed in his communication skills. I live in a two bedroom unit which I have to share a bedroom with my two youngest. It is very challenging and I do struggle day to day as I have recently had to resign from my job of 11yrs due to family life. I have had more downs than ups these last few years with one of the worst being when I left the father to look after the kids only to get a call to say that my son had fallen out the window. (5mtr drop on to concrete). He was in an drug induced coma for 2 weeks and had a drainage tube inserted into his skull. He suffered no broken bones only to his head where there was two fractures. The hardest of all was when he awoke to a tube still in his throat and he was very scared and frightened. After that he was like a new born - not able to hold his own head up or walk. He suffered seizures which was most traumatic to watch as you feel so helpless and because of his autism was ...
