Hello all ,I hope you all had a wonderful mothers day. I am a little late for mother's day,but I was just thinking about the things my mother used to say to me and my siblings when we were growing up and as a child I would say I am not going to say that to my child when i grow up.I find myself saying these things now to my children.

Dont pull faces or the wind will blow and it will stay that way.

One of her other things was go and play on the road still not sure about that one and dont say that one.

When I would ask what was that she would say a wing wong for a gooses bridle (i dont say that one much either.

We would ask what was for tea and she would say pigs head and cabbage.

I would say I am going to let my children do all these things that I was not alowd to do when i was a child now I find myself telling my children they can't do these things that I said i would let them do .Gee mother's really are wise lol.

I love my mother very much but as we were growing up she was very serious,now she has lightened up a little,but I am silly and do silly things about the house with my kids,I think well my kids can not say I had a boring mother lol when they grow up.Altho I am very serious when needed.

What are some of the things your mother would say and you would now find your self saying them when you said you wouldnt when you were a child.
