Spiders seem to be everywhere at the moment . . I can't stand the damned things, if that had been me I would have scooped up bub and jumped all over that towel and then I would have got a fresh one . . . YEAH i know, i am a sook!!!

Wow you're soooo brave I would have had to use a shoe or something cause I'm a big chicken.  

You know you mentioned a few days ago about your 14 month old giving people the 'evils' well my one went through that phase but for some reason he did it after the over friendly phase where he would stick his face in front of anyone and say 'hello' , but as people over here didn't take much notice of him maybe he thought he change his approach, lol.

i know how you feel about a mother protecting her child though...
i was about to change my daughter and i spotted a cricket on top of the change table and my instincts took over... i took a plastic bag from below the table and squished it... you have no idea how gross it felt hearing its guts squish. LOL

Yikes!  The reality is that living in Australia means you are never more than a few feet away from a spider.  ((((shuddering at the thought)))).  Glad no one got bitten though.
