Home at last!

by MumKimComment Published at 16:5816:583 comments3 comments122 Visits122 VisitsReport
Yesterday at nearly 6pm Natalya and I finally arrived home. After just over four weeks away it is really great to be home again. Haydon came home on the train a few days ago while I waited in Perth for the car window to be repaired.
My Mum traveled down with me yesterday to help me on the trip because driving 200km with a three month old baby and two excitable little dogs was not something I wanted to try on my own.
I have a stack of mail to get through and today Mum, Natalya and I are off to a fitball class followed by an Australian Breastfeeding association meeting.
The stress of the last few weeks has affected my milk production. My once abundant supply has dried up a few times in the last few weeks. It is so good to be home again!

A big thank you to Osborne Smash Repairs

I would like to say a very big thank you to Tony and the crew at Osborne Smash Repairs in Guthrie St Osborne Park for fixing my window so I can drive home.
Even though they were fully booked out this week they squeezed the job in to fix my drivers side window so my three month old baby and I don't have to travel 200 km home without a  window. Thank you Osborne Smash Repairs!
My Dad recommended them and I would happily recommend them to anyone who needs a good panel beater.

Enough said about the lowlife near Fremantle who smashed my window and stole stuff from my car. I hope he/she got something for the monitor because it will cost us about $400 to replace it on top of the cost of thr $300 insurance excess and the train fare my husband had to pay to travel back to so he could go to work to pay for all this while I waited in Perth to get the window fixed.

This post is from from my other blog here

I still haven’t got home again but I am back in Oz.
We went to New Zealand to introduce Natalya to Haydons family. We got back to Perth on Wednesday night.
Natalya and I met Wildrose from Minti for lunch on Thursday. It was the first time we have actually met face to face. I will post a photo when I finally get home.
On Friday while we were taking Natalya to the doctors some lowlife was in the parking lot smashing our drivers window and  stealing the monitor from our reversing camera.
Before we knew about the car the doctor arranged for ...

Before we knew about the car the doctor arranged for Natalya to see a paediatrician at midday on Monday.
Given the showers that were forcast and the absence of the window we couldn't drive the car 200 km home in time for Haydon 2 start work so he caught the train back.
Dad drove N & me to the appointment and I found a panel beater that will  fix the window tomorrow. Until then N and I are staying at Dads place with a car I can drive but not park anywhere.
