By 12:30 this afternoon I had changed Natalya's fifth dirty nappy and two just wet ones on top of that. This is day ten of this tummy bug. I took her to the doctor yesterday. She said I just have to wait it out. I am getting pretty sick of crap!

Yesterday I made a comment and it was reported. This morning I looked on Minti and my comment was live again. The members of the Minti community had voted that my comment was not in breach of the terms of service etc.
Then the same member who reported it the first time then reported it again. She is the one asking you to vote again,
I DID NOT RE-POST MY COMMENT, it was simply released back onto the site by the Minti Community. By re-reporting my comment that member is showing contempt for the Minti Community's decision. Although 15 of you said that the comment was acceptable she has chosen to ask you to vote again.
She has done this with another members comment today too.
 I have to ask why she can not accept the decision of the Minti community! Then again she has previously shown much contempt for the rules of the Minti community.

This morning while I was doing the poopa scooper rounds in the back yard I noticed that the area near the back tap was all boggy. I insisted that Haydon dig it up to check if there was a leaky pipe. Sure enough there was - so emergency phone call to the plumber. He fixed the pipe but the glue takes 24 hours and we have to have the water off at the mains!
We have a rain water tank attached to the shed so I can fill the kettle for drinking and buckets for washing hands and flushing the toilet with. But I can't use my washing machine, dishwasher, or shower. Boy do I miss having running water but I am glad we have the tank.

Yesterday I saw the child health nurse and she asked about Natalya's sleeping. When I said that N is feeding a lot overnight she asked if maybe my supply was insufficient and N was hungry. I didn't really think there was a problem there but decided to take a fenugreek tablet to boost supply just in case.
i was cooking dinner and doing other things when I took my tablets; 2 omega oil tablets, 2 vitamin supplements, etc and accidently took two fenugreek tablets. BAD IDEA!
wet  bra, wet pj top, wet baby, and more wet clothes today. Not to mention the sore swollen boobs. Next time I will just take one!

I have noticed that once again voting appears to be something that people are getting upset about. Now I do understand why Minti has voting - to rank the advice or quality of the comments but seeing that it appears to have become more of a popularity contest than a quality control I have to wonder if Minti wouldn't be a better place without it.
By popularity contest I am referring to the people who vote based on who wrote the comment or advice rather than by the content. I have noticed much 'revenge' voting. It is rumoured that some people even get on msn and tell other people what to vote on and how to vote.

People appear to be getting upset by how other people voted and sometimes how they think someone voted. With the anonymous voting it is not really possible to know who really gave you the one star or five star voting.

I wonder if Minti wouldn't be a better place without the ranking and voting. What do you think?
