I went in yesterday too and couldn't believe the overflowing trolleys. The amount of toys is amazing! Do they need all that? Oh well, lucky kids these days! The layby line was crazy. I thought I would wait to the sales as I had a birthday present to buy for this little girl so I didn't get it last week only to save about $3 if that so BIG DEAL. I can't believe there was an ambulance there.. that's just insane !!!!!

We all went down to the shops last night too.. to check out the sales..
We didn't look around too long though, we just ate a bit of dinner then shopped then went home..

I swear that K-Mart didn't change much, compared to what it looked like last week. LOL

But anywho, yeah, we're trying to figure out what to get Alisha for Xmas too..
Problem is, I'm worried that if I get Alisha something for Xmas now (and put it on lay-by), then I'll change my mind and want something else before then. lol
Like, what if I find something better and want that ? lol

LOL oh yes i went to the toy sales tonight. Still some what crazy and got what i wanted. I however used to work in layby at kmart for a few years. Drived me crazy at this time. Especially when they had no deposit layby's then after the two weeks no one had put deposits on we were the idiots grabbing down the parcels to go back on the shelves SUCH A PAIN. I feel layby;s pan. Good thing they have 10% deposit. The sales this year i dont think are as good as previous years.

Our K mart open at midnight here and it was like a pack of wolves rushing in and my sister and i waited for 4 and half hours in the layby line and we got there right on midnight so we left at 5.30am........ Never again rather get whats left next time.

Yeah I was crazy too, but only did it because grub was at kindy and I had all day to do it.

Went to bigw and got everything on my list (and more oops) and then lined up for 3hrs in laybe queue wearing my heeled boots...bad choice of shoes. By the time I got out of bigw it was 1.20pm and I was starving.

My original plan was to do both kmart and bigw while he was at kindy as they are in two different suburbs near me....yeah right who was I kidding! So picked him up from kindy then did our usual after kidy stuff. Then decided to brave kmart at kippa ring as it's usually a bit quieter than the rest of them. WOW got there at about 4.40pm and it was like a ghost town and they had everything I wanted as well.

I just feel relieved that it's over as I have grubs birthday and xmas pressies and my nephews xmas pressies all done. Just gotta pay for them now.....I spent $430 between the two stores. mmm me thinks I need to get a job!!!

We braved Big W this afternoon. Its was worth it. We got a trampoline and play gym for the backyard and some board games as well. We must of saved at least $200. It was so packed with ppl I couldn't believe it. The line up for layby was 8 hours this morning and when we went it was still 4 hours. Needless to say we bought what we wanted and got out of there!

I reckon!! It was CrAzY!!... I didnt realise there was a toy sale on hahah silly me... i just thought Man everyones getting in early for xmas as nearly EVERYONE had some kind of toy.. if not 2...or 3...or more hahaah

well stupid me went to kmart today of all days! i didnt relise the sale started today! People everywhere, kids everywhere, trollies flowing, husband rolling there eyes. I over heard one woman on her mobile with her friend in Big W. they were buying for each other, nuts. So i grabbed the bubble machine i wanted and bolted out before jade and I were lost in the sea of people! Im just happy we made it out in one piece. NEVER AGAIN

I didnt go anywhere near ours for that reason.. My gf said she got out in 45 minutes but i did hear that some waited up to 4 hours...

Thank God for online shopping....

I went with my sister last year in the morning so I could help her push the trolley and it was crazy!! They had almost NOTHING they advertised because it sold when they opened. We waited in the line for 2 hours!! The stupid staff walked up and down the isle giving out lollypops (because I am sure all the mothers wanted their kids on sugar highs when they had to be strapped in a trolley. Got some really great sales though so it was worth it (I even got all my christmas presents for my nephew and family and saved over a hundred dollars).

So this year I thought I would get my sister to watch my son and head down for the midnight. I dragged a male friend of mine down so he could push the trolley and pick the heavy stuff up tehehe. Lucky I did, I only had a small list of 11 things I wanted and I got them all very fast, was only waiting in layby for 45 minutes, saved so much money!! I was so happy I got my nephew a thomas train set to put together and I saved $240!! On the way out the front of the store was silent because everyone was in layby, and it looked like a tornado had hit. I am glad I went in because I was talking to a friend today and she was so disapointed that they didn't have any of the big sale items left.

i went last yr at midnight and waited up to 3 hrs in the que for layby . so this yr we will go i a few days and get someone to mind the kids as you said noone cares about your little ones

thats why i dont go to these sales. I saw a lady who works in the toy dep and she said its so funny cause all it is no deposit till xmas and no actual sale. I think its so silly to do as well. Here in Perth you go and say what it is u want and they write it down, add your details and walk away and wait for a letter to say your bill is $$$$ and please pay and pick up by xmas eve. (well thats what my sister just told me as she was up there this morning getting a Wii)

I couldnt beleive why ppl would wait for that long,nothing elese better to do i guess as it wasnt as good as the target sale which is coming up soon " excited"....lol...

OMG I KNOW!! I went up to Big W to get my nephews birthday pressent. And thank god i had the money to pay for it there and then. Our layby line was a 2 hour wait also!! OMG this sale goes for 2 weeks - why are people all there today? I guess they just wanted to get in early to make sure they got what they wanted, but seriously!!! I felt sorry for the girls at the layby counter. There were 5 of them and completely run off thier feet!!

I might head in there next week and see if i can still get some bargains to put on layby for christmas pressies.
