Hi
Damian and got married on Easter Saturday 2005. Although we currently have no children other than a black Lab called Shadow and a Kelpie cross called Brandy, we are looking forward to starting a family. |

We went for our first hospital visit, yesterday, and it was with unfortunate news they we found out that I had had an anembryonic pregnancy. Apparantely this occurs when a ferilized egg attaches itself to the uterine wall, but the embryo does not develop. Cells develop to form the preganancy sac, but not the embryo itself. A high level of chromosome abnormalities usually causes a woman's body to naturally miscarry. However, in my case a curate was performed last night at the Geelong Hospital to remove the empty birth sac.
Although, the visit was not a happy ending for us, due to there being no growing embryo, it was in fact an insight into a well run public hospital system, and to the extreme kindness and professionalism to all that we dealt without throughout my nine hours spent there yesterday.
Damian and I are copying well, with much support from family and friends, but we welcome any support from anyone else who has been directly or indirectly through this situation.
This site has become a godsend for us and a place where we are comfortable to be.
Thanks From Narelle |

After completing a home pregancy test on Boxing Day, and the follow up visit to the doc, we were greeted with fantastic news - I am ten weeks pregnant. Although very excited, am somewhat scared and nervous, first baby nerves I guess. Yet this explains the feelings of unwell, tiredness and emotions running wild, hey im not going mad, just growing a new life form. Now Im eleven weeks pregnant, the morning sickness has stopped, and I am trying to read everything I can to give bubs the best start. Any thoughts gladly welcome. Ty. |

Hi. We got married on Easter Saturday in 2004, at St Margarets Church in East Geelong. Although not a girly girl, I did do the traditional thing and got married in a dress, my mates from the fire brigade confiscated my boots of me the night before because I said i was wearing them instead of high heels, however I did wear my fire brigade pager on my garter belt.
Damian and I have just recently brought our first home and are still in the excited stage at the thought of spending our first Christmas together in our own home, well our's and Wizards. Thanks to Wizard Home Loans for giving us the chance, otherwise we would be still renting.
I am a volunteer firefighter ( and have been for the past 16 years ), this is my pride and passion, I live for my brigade. Today, like yesterday we were on standby at the fire station ready to turnout, fortunately only a little mulch sm,ouldering call in our area.
Well Im P.R Officer for the Bay City Buccaneers senior team - Geelong's only Gridiron Team. The Juniors - under 19's - one the Vic Bowl today at home so Im taking hubby into Geelong so he can celebrate with the boys. Not bad for a team that is only playing its third season. GO BUCCS!!!
Thanks for reading my blog, Im new at this, this is my first ever blog, Damo has lots. Any suggestions welcome. Take care out there. |
