Lilypie 3rd Birthday Ticker

Hi, I'm Naya... I live in Australia with my husband, Nathan, and my one year old daughter, Taiya. I love being a mom... it's a lot of hard work some days, but she's a funny kid and more often than not she's what gets me through the day. I really can't wait to have another baby, but I want to lose some weight and get back into shape first.

My husband and I met on the internet. We were friends for several months before we realized we had feelings for each other. Then about 8 months after that I sold my business and came out to Australia so we could be together. Two and a half months later we were married and I've never been happier. Who would have thought that I'd find the man of my dreams half way around the world.

I've got two published books at http://www.lulu.com/lionsongsden. One is called The Force Within and it's all about how the Star Wars movies influenced me spiritually when I was a kid growing up. The other is called You Don't Have To Take It! A Kid's Guide to Understanding & Preventing Child Abuse. I think that one pretty much speaks for itself, but it's a good read for adults also because it can give you clues as to what to look out for in order to tell if your child may be being abused or bullied.

I'm currently working on a series of books called Gateway to Financial Freedom. These books will help people through the process of setting up, maintaining and marketing an online business.

As you can probably tell I'm very big on reading and I love to write both fiction and non-fiction. I am homeschooling my daughter and I really hope she enjoys reading and writing as much as I do. I think it would be fun for us to work on stories together and maybe even get them published.

I'd be very interested in meeting other parents who homeschool or plan to do so, so that we can exchange some ideas... and I can get myself better prepared for what's to come.
