How petty he should use the excuse that he doesn't get to see the boys.  He caused the problems, and your boys are old enough to know what they do and don't want.

That man is not even a man at all.  He's a mole.  What a low-life, pond-sucking scumball.  Mind you, its pretty typical behaviour.  It always amazes me how people can act like they don't have to take any responsibility for their kids if they aren't in constant contact with them.  Don't they understand parenthood is for life?  Grrrr...
