i've had a week with no internet, is there anything worse !!!!!!!
So frustrating.
I rang my service provided, they checked my line and discovered 7 small faults, so they fixed them from their end, rang me to say it should be working now........it wasn't !!!!!
They decided to send an engineer, they gave me a time slot of 1pm to 6pm, I asked if they would write on the form that I would be at work until 1.30pm but apparently they can't do that, I had to risk missing him!!!!! How crazy is that, I even gave me mobile number so he could ring if I wasn't home, they said they couldn't do that either!!!!! I raced home after work, at 2pm I had a call from the engineer asking if I was home??????? Crazy switchboard operator
He came right around and tested the whole system, eventually to discover that the problem was my modem!!!!
He gave me a number to call to order a new modem, I rang the number to be told that they couldn't do anything until they heard from the engineer himself, which could take 24 hours !!!!! ARGH Pathetic!!!!!! I then popped to the shop with Daniel, when we came home, TJ told me I had missed a call from BT regarding a new modem!!!!!! What!!!!!!
I called them back and after being passed around to several departments, I was then given another number to call !!!!
Finally I was through to the right person, he told me my modem was out of warranty so I would have to buy one, I was fine with that, he then went into sales pitch about having a new contract with them and getting my modem for free!!! I assured him he had to be kidding, all I wanted was my modem, not to be tied to them!!!!
So Modem safely ordered, delivery would be up to 4 days !!!!!!!!!!
This was just so not funny anymore. At last, my modem arrived yesterday, this time its wireless, which is fantastic news for the boys as they can now play Wii Fi with people all over the world, TJ also now can get internet on his ipod touch so we are one very happy household again.
I don't like my home without internet !!!!!!!
