Wow this wind is really hitting some places hard. we have had a touch of it here at home, but nowhere near as bad as the coast. It is incredible. The beaches are closed, the water is raging, the tides are rising. I am glad I am here at home.

A set moves through the Gold Coast's Currumbin Alley.

Huge swells buffet the coastline between Coolum and Noosa.

But on a happy note, it is good to see the new little Rothschild giraffe at Perth Zoo. It is so cute.

Lovely pics!  What a cute girraffe!  I hope you aren't too close to the coast, it seems cyclone season has started your way.

Just don't do what our neighbours did, and hang the washing out during the high winds!  We ended up with their undies all over our lawn! lol.

Pretty dam windy here too (sunny coast qld) and apparently will be for the next few days. Love the bubba giraffe how cute!!!
