Well today Dave had forms to submit to Centrelink for yet another yearly review for his Youth Allowance. Now take into consideration he only started receiving this allowance in October last year. This is the 3rd lot of yearly review forms. One of them I had already handed in 3 weeks ago. The other one was the big family spending and saving form that was handed in when he applied. NOTHING on it has changed.
Explained to the girl on the counter that this was the case and why do we have to keep filling out these forms and submitting them, she told me that I should not have had to. AARGGGG! Then to top it all off he didn't get paid on Monday. So brought that up as well. She told me that the system has auto suspended the payment for not handing in the required information, she looked further and said yes he has, so doesn't know why it was suspended. So she reinstated the payment thankfully so should get that tomorrow.
Also have to put in a new rental form cause the rent went up at Christmas. So have to fax that form to the landlords to sign. They won't accept a letter from the landlord saying what the rent is now and when it went up, no they have to have that form. What a load of run around.
I also remembered tonight that I didn't ask them about the debt I have with them, when they took my parenting payment off me. This was cause my hubby started working again in may, and so they estimated how much he had made and added that to the amount we said he would earn, but the actual amount he earned for the financial year was half of what we originally said. So have to see if I can get that money back. That would then hopefully cancel out the payments that they are currently taking out a fortnight. That would be nice.
I am looking forward to the kids going back to school cause they are driving me up the wall. They are starting to get on each others nerves and fight all day. And about the stupidest things. So not long to go and I will have peace.
I am applying for a job at Aldi, and also putting in an application with woolies. Now I just have to put together a current resume and write cover letters for them both. Hopefully I can get some more paid work, as this year I will have to have my 15 hours a week anyway so would like to have that up and running as soon as possible. |
