what more can go wrong

Well the day started off well, I woke up!! Rang mum to see if she was taking the kids to the beach. No they didn't want to go. So seeing as I had to go shopping for the school books today, I asked mum if she wanted to go with me, and then we would go to the shopping centre to look for a pair of shoes.

I am so particular with shoes, as I have very wide feet with a high instep. I  bought a new dress for $20 the other day, and would like a pair of black, little heeled, strappy shoes to wear with it. Can't find any that I can fit into, and I refuse to pay $60-$70 for a pair. I like up to $30.

Anyway, mum came over we went to Brodies bookstore, got the books I needed went to pay for them and didn't have my wallet. Bugger, Poop etc etc. Mum gave me $50 to pay for them. Went to the shopping centre, couldn't find any shoes then had a look to see if there were any food specials to buy. (Last night I did a Thai stir fry and was telling mum, and she wanted to see the pack that I used for the thai sauce). Got to the section and there were heaps of them for between 27c and 34c. Couldn't pass up a bargain like that. they are all continental or maggi, so brand name meal bases and mixes. Hot pot, rogan josh, lasagne etc. Bought about 25 of them. They are regularly around $1.80 each. Bargain. Mum gave me another $50 to pay for my groceries.

Got home and Dave and his mate nathan were there, as I said to them if they wanted to go and try for their learner licences today, they had to be home by lunchtime. Gave mum the $100 she loaned me. Well took them out and the wait took forever. Boys had their tests and both failed. Oh boo hoo. What a shame. Apart from the $20 it cost, I can wait for them to get it. But they want to try again on Wednesday afternoon as they have a spare lesson in the afternoon while the younger grades have sport. We will see what happens.

I had a mirena put in 7 months ago. Had been bleeding ever since. However last month, no period. I was really happy as I thought that meant that it had finally tapered off. When I went for the 6 month check up at the hospital they were a little concerned at the amount of blood I was still losing. Well I was wrong. Yes while I was out today, I got my period again. Looks like they haven't tapered off at all. Just as heavy and painful. So looks like it will be the hysterectomy in 3 months time. Oh well, it was really what I wanted in the first place.

Anyway, hubby and Dave are going fishing tomorrow with a friend of ours, and the rest of us are gonna stop at their place with his wife and kids and have a good old gossip. Haven't seen each other for over a year, so we will have a bit to chat about I suppose. We do talk on the phone, but not as often as we used to. They live at Toogoolawah, up near Esk, so should be a good day. Lots of room for Connor to run around in. They have a 2 acre house yard and another 38 to get lost on!! Not that he will go that far.

Anyway better go as we are getting up early to go. Maybe fish for dinner tomorrow night. Check ya later

Wow honey - you have had an big day!!!

I'm like you and have wide feet so finding shoes is a huge nightmare! I love getting my from the chemist BUT lately they have only been stocking ons for elderly people and that rules me out . . . Mids 30's is NOT old!!

I am so sorry that your Mirena hasn't helped you. Sadly I am mainly hearing only bad things about the Mirena and am so glad that I neva went ahead and had one put in . .

I hope hubby catches some great fish as there is nothing like freshly cooked fish  . YUMMY . .  I hope you day is better  . .

Cheers Kellz
