I talked to the owner of the Centre yesterday and the Managing Director. They happened to be there for the day. My Director introduced me and we had a chat about food experience and a few other things. And they want me to start sandwiches and fruit for the kids on the 1st April.

They are just waiting on Council Approval for the kitchen upgrade, so when that comes through we can have the new oven installed and provide the cooked food as well.

The Director also told me that all the staff we happy with me, and that she would like to keep me on as a floater, doing what I am doing now as well as the Cook's postition.So that when I finish from lunch, I can go in the rooms with the kids. So I could be getting up to 30 hours a week of work.

I can't believe it. It means tho that I will have to give up working at the school, which I didn't want to do, as I love it. And I can't volunteer at the Primary either for Connor. Oh well, we need the money a little bit more. I will finally be able to get ahead with the bills like I would like to be.

Thanks Janice, and you are right I will love it. I just have to get used to talking to little ones again. I am a little out of that. Also once I get used to it, I will know how far I can go as to how to handle them. At the moment some of the "naughty" ones don't listen to me, but that is to be expected I suppose.

Thanks Cazza, and I know the school will understand, but we are going through a big change with the uniforms and I wanted to be a part of it. Oh well. Money gotta come first (especially if I am saving up for a weekend in Tas next year.)
