I got to work this morning to see 3 rather large boxes in the foyer. MY FRIDGES AND FREEZER HAD ARRIVED!!!! I rang Harvey Norman on Monday, to find out what the hold up was with them. They told me they were waiting on the Microwave to come in. Hello, I need my fridges. So I told her not to wait on it, we would get it when it came in. She then told me that she would organise delivery for Tuesday morning. By 2pm yesterday I was back on the phoen to find out where they were as they had not been delivered.
She informed me they went out. So when I got to work, there they were. So in between preparing morning tea and lunches, I managed to unpack them. By the time this was done and afternoon tea prepared, it was time to go and get Connor from school, and I also had to pick Davids mate up as well.
All the kids in the centre were going to have fun this afternoon - fridge boxes to play in!! Tunnels and houses etc were to be made. Good for the afternoon seeing as it has been raining all day and they can't go outside.
Went out to the car, got in and nothing. Not even a click. Bugger. This has to be # 3 in the car saga. Apparently I had left the lights on...the battery doesn't like that for some reason. And the stupid thing was I checked the lights as I got out this morning and for some reason assumed up was off. Don't know why. Rang RACQ, to find out that my husband has let the membership renewal lapse, and we are not covered.
So as one of the other girls was leaving I asked if I could use her car to jump start mine. No problems, got to the school (had rung Dave to go down and meet him at his school and to wait for me), picked up Connor, drove to get Nathan, waited while he got himself organised with stuff he needed for tonight, and went back down to the day care so that the two boys could finish moving the fridges in for me and removing my old one that is getting dumped. Dave had ridden his bike straight down there.
Finally got home, and will put the battery charger on overnight, so that I don't have that problem again.
So all in all an eventful day.
