I didnt want know BUT I didnt get to do a nursery for Jade as we are building and Had to share a room I was SO dissappointed. But thought I might find out as they will share a room for a biit and I can go crazy if its a girl with pink but natural colours if its a boy and they have to share. So hard to choose. I did like the suprise with Jade, but either way I dont care I want bub anyway no matter what

its personal. If you want to know then go for it, but if you dont you dont have to. We wanted to know with Alex so we could prepare but Alex had other ideas and Charlie was very willing to let us know.

knowing about Charlie was good for us cause we could get Alex used to having a sister and he named her Cha Cha (sort for Charlotte) We also could get her stuff ready as we only had boy stuff and I didnt want to bring my baby home in boy stuff if it was a girl. (again a personal thing)

I have had three children and would not have wanted to know if it was a boy or girl until it was born so I agree with Janice on this one, as long as their well and healthy and of course when I had my family there was no way of telling.

yes, i had someone say i was stupid for telling when i was so early on, (5w ish??) but i was so excited, i have been waitinbg 2 years almost, how could i keep that a secret! im too impatient to wait, after we had a boy and a girl, we thought we would keep this a surprise, we can cater for either sex, but we cant wait thats just sill lol. we will find out, besides, i dont want to have to come home and sort through clothes as a new born. xxxx

i knew anyway lol i just wanted them to tell me i was right with both and being on a low income it was easier to buy fro a particular sex.

 Congratulations Nic. I'm from the old school I would prefer not to know, love the element of surprise.

As far as knowing before so you know what colours to buy....there are so many beautifuls colours out there today, that a boy or girl can wear and if family want to buy something gift vochers are a way to go.

Oh yeah, I like to find the out the sex, so I know what to get.. :) And that way family in Australia who send gifts will have an easier time to figure out what to get.. :)
